My Domain is still pointing to a deleted WordPress.com account

Howdy everyone! I am a BRAND new www.ads-software.com member and I am having some issues with my domain and where it is pointing.

I initially had created an account with WordPress.com and bought a domain (ohbehavery.com) through Squarespace (mistake). Eventually, I realized that I wanted to host my own website through Bluehost and use the hosted www.ads-software.com setup. I updated my Squarespace domain’s nameservers to point to my new www.ads-software.com hosted website. It was still showing my .com website.

I deleted my WordPress.com account hoping it would solve my problem. It hasn’t – well not fully. On mobile. www.ohbehavery.com is showing my www.ads-software.com website. On desktop, it is still pointing to a now-deleted WordPress.com website (ohbehavery.wordpress.com).

I know this can seem convoluted but I am just as lost. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Users gets deleted account email

Greeting Team,
Whenever I use settings for newly approved users under Ultimate members -> User roles -> Registration status as require admin review then users gets email of deleted account and then pending review email. that should be not the case. users after registration should only get pending account email and only get deleted account email whenever their account is removed from account. This is urgent please guide.

I Have a big issue with this plugin..
When i delete a user or when a user delete his account, He is not removed from any list.
So a user who deleted his account, Can still receive emails, this is important issue.

Apache Server at spiritheartessence.com Port 80

My usual website (hosted by JustHost and made with Weebly) is spiritheartessence.com and I had my WP site originally named spiritheartessence.com/blog

On my current Weebly website, I have a blog page already so I decided to close down the www.ads-software.com site as it was causing too many issues finding my current blog.

Unfortunately closing/deleting my WordPress account didn’t solve the problem and using spiritheartessence.com/blog still takes me to the page with links listed above.

To find my actual blog, I either have to navigate from my home page or add “.html” to the end:
spiritheartessence.com/blog.html

Is there any way to finally get rid of the wp extensions related to my URL to resolve this issue? Do I need to restore my account and change the name of it or is there a way for admin to get in and do some tweaking?

Locked out

I’m running my WP site on AWS. I had the Buddypress Default Data plugin installed. Before uninstalling I decided to clear all the sample accounts that it created. But it has not only gone and deleted my admin account. And like a good boy I removed the default admin account for security.

I have SFTP access. How the hell do I get back in?

Hi all,

I have an issue which is stuck between wp.org and .com…
We had a wp.com site until we migrated to an external server. We now have no access to the old wp.com account.
The problem is this old account is being forwarded to an old version of our blog on a URL which we do not actually own(!)and is the first result in google when one searches for our organisation.
How can I get access to this old account in order to delete the link between the old blog and that URL?

Every time I try to blog this appears:

Create WordPress website without separate hosting?

I’m the new web admin for a nonprofit organization and our website account appears to have been deleted by someone when I was out of town recently.

I am trying to recreate the site and was told that we didn’t have a separate website hosting company, which sounds odd to me esp because the domain name is stand-alone (it doesn’t contain “wordpress” in it).

I’m new to this aspect of websites so can anyone please advise whether it’s even possible to have a WordPress website without separate hosting?

deleted from the ftp server

Hi, this is quite embarrassing but for about a week ago I installed wordpress on my ftp server. Everything went great i had my login and account i wordpress.

Then I did something very idiotic, i deleted wordpress from my ftp server (dont ask me why) and now when I am trying to intsall it all again i can’t! It says that I most unistall wordpress first to reinstall it again! The only problem with that is that I don’t know how to get in on my account again! When I try the wp-admin.php it only says error 404, cant find the page on the server..

please please help me, it is so frustrating!
