WordPress crashing with 503 error, creates deleteme file in wordpress directory

Our news site is developed in WordPress, It has growing number of vistors and media contents. We noticed that deleteme files are being generated by Installatron in wordpress directory. when it happens , server memory consumption reaches high and causes 503 error. Security scanner plugins have failed us so far. Should we go for bigger hosting server or deleteme is causing trouble for other users too?

Hi. I recently had 3 files flagged from a Wordfence scan on a GoDaddy hosted site. Never had problems w/ this site before. Can anyone tell me if these are of any concern?

i am using your plugin ( All In One WP Security & Firewall ) and today got a notification from file change detection. The following files were removed from your host. public_html/deleteme.wpxxxx.php my question is — is it dangerus? my website is on godaddy server

I have been getting these warnings on a number of the WP sites that I manage where the Security plugin is installed. When I go to the log file and then click on the details, I see the logged item. It does not tell be exactly where the file was added. I then went to FTP and looked carefully and could not find the file. Exactly what is this? Exactly where do I find the place where the file was added?

I just got an email that: a user with username “deleteme” who has administrator access signed in to your WordPress site. What does this mean?? I thought I deleted that user but maybe I didn’t…

I was editing my footer in wordpress and edited the footer.php and functions.php and after updating the page I could no longer get access to my login and every time I go to log in it comes up with this: “https://www.example.com/wp-content/deleteme” with a long list of numbers and letters at the end.

I know exactly what I added to the functions.php and know I just need to delete that, however I can’t get into my wordpress to do so. All I get is a white blank screen.

How do I go about accessing this .php? Is there anyway it can edited in files -> file manager?

What is this deleteme file and should I delete it?
