It’s incredibly frustrating to encounter such issues, especially considering the vital role websites play in modern business. Updates should undergo rigorous testing to avoid such disastrous consequences, as they not only lead to monetary losses but also disturb mental peace.
I urge developers to prioritize stability and thorough testing in future updates to prevent similar incidents from happening to other users. Until then, I cannot recommend this plugin due to the high risk it poses to website stability and business continuity.
]]>The shift to a paid model feels more like a greedy strategy to squeeze money out of users than a decision to improve the product. The quality of service doesn’t justify the exorbitant price they’re charging. Furthermore, the lack of transparency in communication about this change is unacceptable. We’ve been left in the dark and feel abandoned by a company we once trusted.
Instead of enhancing the user experience, this move seems more focused on lining the pockets of the company behind Jetpack. I feel betrayed and frustrated by this decision, and I’m seeking out more ethical and affordable alternatives to improve my WordPress site. I wouldn’t recommend Jetpack to anyone in its current state unless they’re willing to shell out money for a service that used to be free and reliable.
]]>Even more importantly, the team is super responsive about updating the plugin & taking feedback. Super helpful. Hope they come out with more plugins!
]]>The purpose of this modification is so that we can link from ZotPress (running on our WordPress site, https://opendeved.net) to our Kerko instance (https://docs.opendeved.net). For example, on this page https://opendeved.net/programmes/sesp/ we want to link to this page https://docs.opendeved.net/lib/JSB9CSW7. Having looked at ZotPress initially, we’ve achieved this using our own plugin (as a quick fix), but we’d now like to switch to ZotPress, because it gives us many more features.
We would prefer to achieve this through a setting (for {url}), that would be contributed to the source code (pull request).
