It’s a pretty core part of the theme, so to me anyway, it makes sense to have it in the theme instead of a separate plugin.

Is it typical for block theme developers to include custom Gutenberg blocks in their theme files?

Im currently in the design stage of a website and in need of some advice. The website will be a directory/lead generator of sorts similar to the likes of mybuilder, check a trade etc.

A consumer can create an account/profile, add pictures, list what they do etc

A customer can log in and post a job, or a type of consumer they are looking for, view a consumers profile, leave reviews etc.

The consumer then receives a text or email with the details. They can then log in and send an ‘interest’ in the customer post which will then connect the customer and consumer. Like a ‘Lead’

But with this, I would need a separate log in page for the customer so they can just have a basic profile to post a job and one for the consumer so they can add to their profile and possibly in the future a subscription/membership for leads

Is there anyway or any plugin that will allow this?

Am i right in thinking it would be a 2 sided marketplace or Platform?

I need to be able to edit the ever changing values within a single file / or mask cause there are hundreds of them.

In every wordpress post I want to use a shortcode or something like that to show
“service_a_features”
“service_a_time” at the given position within the text.

How could I accomplish that?

Before WordPress I just used a file called “update.php” in which I had defined variables. I then included the update.php in all of my webpages and used echo $service_a_price to show the the value.

I need to do this with hundreds of custom data fields. How can I achieve my goal?

I’m currently building a new driving school project.
I’m searching for a possibility to be able to track where a click hits in a video.

As example: I have a video thats filmed out of a car driving normally on a street. When something like a “risk situation” happens, I want the drive students that watch the video to click on this specific “risk situation” (as example an cyclist that comes out of nowhere). Every click they make should be recorded to evaluate afterwards. The ultimate goal would be to have an automation that tells them x of 10 clicks where right/wrong…

Is there any way to do this / Does anyone has some ideas about this?

The template I am using has some really great functions that I would like to keep (the sliding blog posts, with latest blog posts underneath). However these functions prevent me from having the homepage static.

I would like to create a new static page without these functions (which I have managed to get working in trial runs) but create a php template for my latest blog posts to use where these functions exist.

The theme is infinity news by themes in wp. The customer support never respond to me so I have gave up asking them. Thanks, if you would like the current front-page.php just let me know and I’ll attach as code.
