DFactory LightBox doesn’s work with FooGallery

I like using FooGallery with dFactory Lightbox – I like the design of this lightbox and have been using it often. Suddenly on one of the websites images in FooGalleries open as if there is no lightbox – it’s called image page, I think. On pages where I use the lightbox for single images the lightbox is still working. On other websites where I use the same setup everything is fine.

I removed the cache plugins, just in case. There are no JS errors. I’ve tried all the settings I could think of – no luck. I’ve tried installing FooBox – it works, but I just don’t like it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The developer change of a long lasting dependable pluging messed up everything.
We have developed a custom payment gateway which used this plugin’s cookie accept event and now we have to look for another cookie plugin.

Don’t lose your time here : avoid this company and their products

I highly recommend to avoid plugins from this company. I was using RL Gallery, but it appear this company doesn’t support this plug-in, and I’m ok with that…this could happen… BUT after reading threads on this specific plugin, I noticed that these was no answers at all since months… More over, after browsing all other threads related to the other products (including paid and free), it appears DFactory doesn’t answer to any support (event paid products)… My advice, don’t loose your time with this company. And for currents plugins users, try to find some alternate products to replace DFactory’s one.

Does what it should and does it good. Lots of features and highly customizable. Much more than minimal plugin. It is a great and very recommended plugin. Thank you dFactory!

Plugin is affecting alt text attribute

I’m using your plugin with Catch Base theme and the plugin is affecting the alt attribute when the image is wrapped with an anchor (link).

When you inspect the image with a link the alt text is simply empty alt="".

Hello,

I’m having some issues with alternative texts not being loaded on the theme.
When inspecting the page I can see the alt tag but empty (alt=””). Is there any reason why the theme is not loading them.
BTW, they are all populated in the page content, I have doubled checked it.

alt tags not showing on gallery thumbnail images

I have noticed that the alt tags are missing completely (not even empty) on the gallery thumbnails. This is on galleries created with the module and on WordPress post galleries too. The have been added to all the images, just not being shown in the HTML.

This only occurs with galleries, not single images on the site.

Please advise.

Unfortunately, the plugin authors have fallen prey to the “more features more better” syndrome, and the plugin is no longer the simple, solid plugin it used to be. Now it’s riddled with bugs and complexity. Not an improvement, instead it’s like a different plugin. Further, support is virtually non-existent; or maybe I’m just 1 millionth in line for help.
