1. Downloaded the Google client package.
2. Created a project in Google Cloud and generated a service key (with owner permissions).
3. Created a Dialogflow ES agent in the Global – US region.
4. Entered the corresponding project ID and key into the WPBot plugin settings.

However, after completing everything, when I clicked on “Test Dialogflow Connection,” it remained stuck in the “connecting” status without any logs or response.

I’m currently working on a chatbot integration with my WordPress site. I’m using the Google Dialogflow engine and part of the requirements is to have a webhook that is publicly available.

I’m quite new to WordPress and APIs in general. I understand I can create a PHP file in my cPanel and have that as my webhook.

My questions are as follows
1. Is there any plugin I can utilise for the same
2. Can WordPress API extract data from its database so I can have my API retrieving and creating records?
3. How do I achieve the Basic authentication with login and password as described in the URL above

v1 or the Dialogflow API is shutting down soon. So I have updated the plugin to integrate with Dialogflow API v2. This is a breaking change. To fix, reconfigure the plugin settings to use a new Google service account key file for authentication with the new Dialogflow APIs.

Here’s how to create a service account key file:

1. Login to Google Cloud Platform and select your Dialogflow project.
2. Navigate to the credentials section of the APIs & Services page.
3. Click the create credentials button and select service account key.
4. From the service account drop down, select new service account.
5. Enter a name for the account, then select the “DialogFlow API Client” role.
6. Leave the default key type, then click the create button and download the key file.
7. Make sure the Dialogflow API has been enabled.

When I test connection it is stuck on Connecting .. I am not sure if connection is success?

I didn not find “DialogFlow->Settings->Export and Import” tab as the plugin requested. Am I missing something? And will not the FB Messenger Bot integration work without that?

Will the plugin stop working?
