User died, and family want to delete profile/blog

My best friend died four years ago, and her family would like to delete her wordpress account, or at least her blog. How is this done when her Email address has been deleted? I have her password and username for her wordpress account, but I can’t manage to delete it without verifying via Email.

When I downloaded the plugin to my locally hosted site, I was able to use it. When I downloaded it to my live site, it killed my plugin dashboard. Do you happen to know why?

Upon submitting the plugin settings page, the connection resets and I find the above message in Apache error log.
Using Ubuntu server 12.04. I no longer have Suhosin installed, which caused similar errors in the past.
Any ideas?

Social issues

Hi,

Not sure if anyone has experienced the same problems with Social as me. Everything was working fine I spent ages testing Social and it did exactly what I wanted, then I moved the site from staging to live and it died.

Spent hours with server tech support who told me that something on my site was making too many calls to admin-ajax.php. Disabled all plugins and slowly brought them back on-line and as soon as Social was reactivated the site died again.

I don’t really understand why the site works on staging and not on live, maybe too many people accessing it on live, though I don’t think it has more than about 10 visitors at any one time.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I would love to be able to re-activate it.

Website died overnight

Hi all,

This morning I found out my website died overnight for no apparent reason: https://reginator.net.

When I try to log into https://reginator.net/wp-login.php to see what happened I get the following error: You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

I haven’t made any changes or updates recently but the website is down and I can’t log into WordPress admin. I’m using Thesis as the theme.

Any help is much appreciated!

I didn’t even do anything. Maybe updated some plug-ins an hour or so ago. It’s just become a white page. I tried to access my posts, and the posts have become white pages, too. I’ve got a dashboard, I’ve got stats, but the stats have stopped tallying. Anybody seen this before?

WordPress died after I changed back static page to dynamic

Hello,

I wanted to create a splash site. I’ve tried what I’ve found on this site: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

The problem happened when I changed back from Static page to Dynamic page, hit the Save button, and than everything died. The WP is not even loading in. So I can’t log in, I can’t edit anything. Any idea what file should I write over on the server?

I’ve looked up the internet, but I couldn’t find any solution.
Please help me! Thanks
