To help, I made this short video (https://youtu.be/SUQ4LHBXb0s) that shows me going through the steps and the file not replacing. Would you be so kind as to watch it and see if you can see anything I’m doing wrong? It’s only 1-? minutes. Thank you!
In case it’s helpful, the URL of the original file is: https://thecmg.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/test-to-delete-1.pdf and the file to replace it is almost identical, ending with “test-to-delete-2.pdf” .
I actually found someone on YouTube who made a video about how great this plug-in and shared what I was going through with her. She was stumped and suggested writing you directly. … Please know that I’m not super techy at all. I’m not even the webmaster of this site. I just do some minor things to it, like post images and PDFs that members of the organization might want to see. Thank you!!!
]]>I’m hoping to get some help with logging into my site. Yesterday I upgraded to 5.4 WITHOUT backingup my data (rookie). I then changed site URL without changing WordPress URL. As a result I can no longer login to WordPress to revert back to previous version and to fix up the URLs. Can anyone assist or recommend who I could contact to get this fixed? We do have a website host who is charging $500 for the fix which I was shocked by the price!
]]>Now, I have switched to https://www.exempel.se (Swedish spelling of example and now with https:// + www as main).
Since the transfer I have added all versions of my new domain (with www, w/o etc) in Google Search Console as well as combined it with Google Analytics. My main URL in GA is https://www.exempel.se (which it was on the Search Console as well).
My old main site has been removed from Google’s index: Site removal Jun 2, 2017. It’s still in transfer though, as there are a few links left.
Here’s the problem. When I add this plugin and tie it to my GA-account, it refers to the main URL as my old main site, instead of the new one. It has the views I use, that I created after I moved my site, but nevertheless, the main site is the “old” one on this plugin, https://example.com, instead of https://www.exempel.se. I can’t change it to any version of the new site, either.
Does this matter? I have verified using console that the new site has the correct tracker ID in the body of the HTML on my new site, and I have uninstalled the plugin on my old domain, which is redirecting.
Any advice would be welcome!
Thank you,
Erik
In url i have:
catalog/name-of-product/
while in breadcrumb it says:
products/name-of-product
Could it be possible to make breadcrumbs be the same as url?
Thank you very much
Best Regards
I’m afraid I’m not having much luck contacting the plugin authors about transferring my license to a different domain.
On 8 April I sent a message to say that I would be moving my site to a different URL and was wondering if there were any particular steps I should take to ensure that the license came too. I was advised to deactivate and reactivate the plugin.
On 16 April I replied to that email to say that it was not successful. Only the demo version was installed and I couldn’t see how to make it the full license. I provided the number of my order receipt but didn’t hear back.
A few nights ago I followed this up with a message through the elearningplugins contact form (again with my previous purchase receipt) but there has been no response. Perhaps everyone’s super busy?
It would be great to know exactly what steps I should be taking from here to ensure that my money wasn’t wasted.
Thanks.

]]>Here’s the issue:
My old host server was running cpanel, my new one isn’t but they both have mysql and phpmyadmin.
Since I couldn’t do the regular easy way of moving the wordpress site(were I copy to my hard drive and change the url and all that), I am confused on how to do this.
The previous site was www.mthanow.com/greattax
now it’s www.greattaxservices.com on the new host.
Since I have the .sql file and the wordpress directory, how do I go about making the transition? I was in the middle of editing (some manually) the site for a client and it was too much work to try and do all over again when they are expecting the finished product soon.
There is no way I can make the same database name from the old host database to the new one because my new host automatically creates the database pass, user and name.
Any help would be appreciated.

New help here, I kept the old question above so that you can reference what happened.
So, I went to the site: www.greattaxservices.com and the site shows the original home page. (Using Irresistible Theme) that I changed around a little. However when I click on something, the old address www.thanow.com/greattax comes up with the following code:

This is happening because I had to move the domain www.thanow.com to the same host account that www.greattaxservices.com is at. So naturally everything is showing up in the old directory www.thanow.com/greattax like the old hosting account.
So I hope someone understands how I can fix this. Now I am all confused. LOL. Because it wasnt until I finished the above help question that I checked the domain www.greattaxservices.com to see it at least put the homepage up.
]]>As you must know, the GA Experiments asks us different urls to create the comparison.
The question is: How can I get two different urls for my homepage in WordPress, each displaying a diffenret menu scheme?
I know some plugins that suppose to do that, but I’d like to try using GA.
Thank you.
]]>How can I do this? Is there something obvious that I’m missing?
Thanks.
I have this problem. I would like to run my WordPress MU blog at blogaddress.blog.domain.com. But WP multisite is running at www.domain.com. Is there any way how to change creating default address blogaddress.domain.com to that mention above? (under the “blog” subdomain”)?
Thank you very much!
