Blank Page After Download

When a purchase is made on my site (free purchase), they get a button to download. When someone downloads that item, a blank screen appears and the only way to get back to my site is to arrow back. Does anyone know how to have a virtual product download in a new tab?

I’ve got a cobbled together order management page (which has no wordpress/woocommerce includes/functions, all hand coded php/sql) but I want to be able to have a print/open packing slip link on the page.

I’ve tried call the URL as per the woocommerce page but have no idea how to generate the _wpnonce code, everything I’ve done has come back with ‘not authorised’

/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=generate_wpo_wcpdf&document_type=packing-slip&order_ids=13355&_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxx

Is there a ‘quick fix’ please?

Currently I am having an issue with my site so my site is down, but I have a magazine and it’s free for download through checkout. Everything works fine and it downloads okay and opens up, but after I hit download after checkout instead of re-directing to any page within my site, it’s just a blank screen. So checkout and download is successful, but after download, only way to get redirected back to my site is by typing in my site again or hitting the back arrow. Any suggestions?

I explain it: I have created a .vcf file (with all the contact content of my company) and I link it to an image (barcode image in the footer) that when I click on it, I would like to directly download the contact. Now I tri to do this but its opened on new tab and show the information of the file buy its not download.

Hi,

I have files that are stored on my Google Drive account (because they are too heavy). Then, I transform the sharing url into a direct download url.

Ex : https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/edit?usp=sharing
To : https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID

When I launch the link in my browser i can downloads the file directly.
I inserted this link in my product and now the user can download the file but the name of the file is not taken into account.
For example my file is called “hello.zip”, when the user goes on his account to download the file he gets “uc” file every time.
I tried to download this file because the weight is the same, I renamed this “uc” file into “hello.zip” and it works.

How to fix this problem ?

I would like to use my own button with the CSS class DL_Ursachen but it does not work, the red usual button overrules.

I am using Divi as a theme and defined the class in the button module.
I produced a test page to show you the case.

The bottom button “Download E-Book” should be the one which should lead to a forced direct download.
The upper button of the plugin should work with the code
