My only request – It could be helpful if the GeoDirectory js and css are not loaded when GeoDirectory blocks are not used on a page. Make similar to Block themes, where only those scripts are loaded for the Blocks we use on a page. Please add more block theme templates.

Reviews Table not added to the database during installation

Works well as a simple directory, but reviews cannot be left because the wp_atbdp_review:?Table does not exist If you have no idea how to solve this yourself, you cannot permit reviews. Also not synching with buddypress / wordpress login and sign up pages. These pages need a seperate shortcode. So either you have no other member directory or you must generate a separate page to permit people to list their items. Finally, the page where you would fix these errors (… /aazztech_settings#_pages) shows error “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” and that as an admin.

This is not a plugin that would be easy to setup if you’re not familiar with coding.

Compatibility issue with another directory plugin

Hi there, I am building a business directory using plugin and theme from Directorist. I would like to add Coupon directory but from a different plugin to keep things separated. As soon as I activated GeoDirectory, my front end stopped loading. As soon as I disabled directorist, GeoDirectory and site are working fine. Back end works fine all the time.
The only notification I I had right after installation, was: “WARNING: BuddyPress hijacks the slug search, GD search will not work until you update the GD search page slug to something different.” and I changed that slug to search1.

Also I have some health check plugin that shows error:
If you are modifying GeoDirectory on a parent theme that you did not build personally we recommend using a child theme.

It is a great plugin and I really would like to use it the along with my directory. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I’m relatively new in WordPress world. I created a website (real estate agent personal). I would like to add a page with offers (kind of directory). The page uses OceanWP theme and is built using Elementor.

I would like to add 2 pages for different categories (for sale, to let) where I could display all items in these categories. I was able to achieve it because I tested a lot of plugins. I’m facing the problem when I’trying to modify single item page. It inherits the appearance from the main theme, but in my case all pages are fully built using Elementor.

Is there any plugin which allows modifying single detail page and embed the current item details within it (for example using shortcode)?.

If I’m doing wrong, can you please advise how I can achieve my requirements?

Using this on a clients’ site we were excited about the possibilities it had in store. After using it quite a bit, and going through the various options, on several templates, we experience it as a very sturdy plugin capable of more than it says on the tin.

We wanted something “very custom” and we needed to tweak and tweak and tweak to get to where we wanted to be, due to our wishes ofc. But we are really happy to say that this plugin delivers!

The support from the developer is excellent and we could not be happier with the answers we have had so far. The help has been needed as we don’t do code, and sometimes, we needed some code.

Without the help, we would have easily struggled a lot more.

So this is a HUGE thanks to Steven, for the build, and the support.

Thanks a lot for a great plugin.

Directory plugin that isn’t geographic

I’m involved in developing a WordPress website that lists members of an organisation who provide services such as counselling, training and so on, and am looking for a plugin. The problem is that most plugins assume a geographical location for each entry.

While that makes sense if you want to see all Indian restaurants in your city, it’s not applicable in these days of remote working and online delivery. If you want to find an IT person with particular skills, or someone who can deliver an online training course, it doesn’t necessarily matter what city they’re in.

Are there any listing pkugins that work on keywords rather than having to enter a geographic location?
