support does not respond, I was send a request support 24hrs later, and not have a response, does not have a ticket system, can not login for view status ticket. I see they have a Facebook support, and I try login but nothin approve me, it’s frustrating, I think money back 199dlls it’s many money for me.
i think I have bad luck, because not see before, the last review from this plugin. I see the last year this enterprise it’s a disaster.
]]>The backup I have to restore the site already includes this problem because I was not careful to see if the plugin affected the publications before making the backup and deleting the one before installing Image Optimizer by Elementor.
The only option I see is to have to go back through all the posts with images and re-insert them 1 by 1.
Disaster. Any solution?
]]>As an avid long term fan and developer of WordPress for 12+ years, nothing comes close to Gutenberg in how much it’s damaged the functioning and operation of WordPress, adding needless complexities to the user and developer experience, adding no tangible upsides, and breaking the long upheld principle of backwards compatibility.
This plugin and mostly its integration into the WP core is a disaster and has damaged WordPress as a whole.
]]>I believe that title says it all.
It took a couple or three days to find the problem and guess what?
It was the problematic Minification option in wp-optimize. Disabled it and the site was right as rain.
That said it has cost me big readership and substantial ad revenue. I’ve worked 11 years to make this site work and these folks have screwed up a lot of work.
I love its sister plugin updraftplus. And I like the optimization part of this plugin. Very effective. But the minification option is a nightmare … and I don’t use nightmare lightly.
The minification was restarted by downloading an update. I had a previous problem with minification so I disabled it. Didn’t know the update on plugin restarted minification. Bloody shame
I hope to keep updraft forever. But I think it is time shop for a replacement for wp-optimize. Sorry.
Any suggestions from readers on a replacement for wp-optimize?
cheers

]]>I’m a huge fan of wp-optimize. Used it for years … no problems.
However recently, often after creating a post, in two or three hours, all the styling is removed leaving a blue and white mass of mess.
So I turned off (new and improved?) minify on the plugin and guess what? The problem disappeared. Cost me enormous amount of time and money. Time I would rather spend on content rather than chasing sloppy development.
This after a couple of weeks trying to find the problem. As with most plugins (and their updates), coders are sloppy. I protect my site against hackers but the biggest threat to it is updates.
Here’s an idea. Before damaging people’s websites and costing them money, get the damn update correct.
I hate being used as a beta test.
