Plugin is dead after 5.0

Been using this for years with no issue, this plugin got me out of a few bad situations.

This all changed after version 5.0. Can’t modify old jobs, can’t rename new jobs, can’t schedule properly, can’t configure properly.

BackWPUp is over, this update buried it. Even if they fix it, the authors lost my trust forever.

Deletes images from products!

Beware… this plugin deletes almost all your media library and if you have products, guess what, you HAVE to restore a backup IF you have one… if not, you’re screwed.

Shame on the developers, such crimes should be punished by law.

If you use this extension, Google will SUSPEND your Merchant Account! Our site functions perfectly; however, google falsely claims the site and/or products are in violation. This is not TRUE. There is no support! When we use WiX, EVERYTHING goes right to Google Merchant Center no problem –– using the same exact products!!

Software not working as per demo and absolutely no support! :(

So disappointed with the support for this plugin, is almost non-existent. Literally no replies to emails, and no ticket system or chat anymore (purchased 8 months ago). After putting much work in am thinking I have to find another solution as surely, if there is no support then who know about updates etc.

Wasted $150 and sooooo much time and energy

Deleted everything from server

Almost lost my job for this plugin. It just deleted everything, along with the product data from WordPress server. NO, it doesn’t move anything to trash, rather deletes everything permanently. Keep Away.

Very bad experience, I was offered their service to accept payments in my woocommerce store by Georgia Fabien , I was given instructions what to do and followed each step , registered business because she told it’s required to use superpayments , I emailed her that all done , I can see she read my email as I have notification that email was opened but no reply at all from her , why to offer your service if you don’t event communicate just ignore after all steps was done from my side. AVOID !!!!!!!!

Installed on one of my clients’ sites and liked it’s functionality and ease of use, so I put it on another. Then the first one got hacked and a redirect had hijacked their site. I went in and manually fixed the issues, but a week later it happened again. I did a scan with their tool that said it identified the problem and fixed it. IT DID NOT. I had to manually fix it again.

After the same exact issue started happening on the 2nd site, I started to put the pieces together as to how I could get hacked through my substantial FTP and folder-level security without any of my access logs tracking the intrusion. BECAUSE I INVITED THEM IN by installing this plugin. Even deactivated, the hacks were still happening.

Whether or not this plugin is deliberately in cahoots with the hackings or if it’s just got a gaping-barndoor-sized hole in their security, if you install this plugin, you’ll get hacked. Simple as that.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I installed it on my site and my site went down. Fixed that problem and decided to give it one more go. Went to link it to my account and then my account got permanently restricted for “unusual activity”. Finally deleted it and went with a different solution. This plugin needs to be removed from the store as it is malicious and causes nothing but problems. Whoever wrote the code is a complete moron.
