First time trying your plugin and immeditely noticed an issue with deleting custom cron jobs.
From the main “Cron Events” tab filtered by “All Events”, I am unable to delete or edit any of the custom cron jobs I’ve added. It gives me a “cron job does not exist” message.
If I filter it by “Custom Events”, then I can delete / edit them, but only the ones that have actions associated with them.
If I filter it by “Events with no action”, then I can delete / edit them, but only the ones that do not have actions associated with them.
Took me a while to figure out how to edit / delete custom cron jobs, and I almost uninstalled before stumbling upon the “filter by” trick to get it done.
If I’m on the main plugin “Cron Events” page without filters, editing / deleting custom cron jobs just does not work. Says the selected job does not exist, when it clearly does.
]]>WordFence inform us that it has blocked “domain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-file-manager/lib/php/connector.minimal.php” and was blocked by firewall for a Malicious File Upload in file: upload=1rmpoli5hzo7x6l.php
However, such a directory does not exist. “WP File Manager” is not installed and WordPess is not installed in the root directory but in a sub-directory.
However, after several attempts, a file is written to the /tmp directory of the domains root and the antivirus running on the server deletes the file.
The file is identified as “Backdoor:Win32/Dirtelti!ml” and is named phpXXX.tmp
The AV only started to be triggered by these events since 19/09.
This is happening across several domains, non of the domains have “WP File Manager” installed.
Server details
Windows Server 2012 R2 fully patched.
Plesk is fully patched with latest version and Plesk security features for the protection of the file system are turned on.
PHP versions being uses are 7.4.11 and 7.3.23
WordPress on the site is the latest version.
All plugins are latest version.
Have no idea how hackers are manipulating a non existant directory/plugin to upload malicious files!
]]>Problem
I had three requests today within six seconds with the following
POST /wp-content/plugins/wp-file-manager/lib/php/connector.minimal.php
The final one got through WordFence
I have an exact rule in WAF
Immediately block IPs that access these URLs
/wp-content/plugins/wp-file-manager/lib/php/connector.minimal.php
It is like for like, as per the setting. Not sure why it got through. Any reason you can think of?
]]>I’m running a multisite and installed Events Manager. With Query Monitor on, I’m getting the following error:
Table ‘xxx.wp_em_events’ doesn’t exist
Error code: 1146
Because that table doesn’t exist, events on subsites can’t be saved – on subsites there is the additional error for the booking table not existing.
The strange thing is that on my local multisite install, it works right out of the box, no errors from Query Monitor.
I’ve been searching for answers and some suggestions are:
1. to create the table manually
2. drop the table and recreate the table, because the error is that the table actually exists but is not detected
3. reinstall plugin – did that but no result
4. talk to host about restarting mySQL – did that but no result
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Conrad
“The theme directory “vantage-child” does not exist.
ERROR: The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist. Please check your installation”
After my web host company check on this, the website started loading with Menu Bar and logo on top but no content is displaying. Someone should please help…I need to hand over the website to the owner this week.
]]>alrighty! so I have the event calendar embedded on this page in my website, and everytime I click on an event I get this message:
“Error 404
It seems like you have tried to open a page that doesn’t exist. It could have been deleted, moved, or it never existed at all. You are welcome to search for what you are looking for with the form below.”
I get it in firefox, chrome, on my pc, and on my phone, and I’m completely stumped….
It was working a few days ago.

]]>I deleted the “Base” theme because I wasn’t able to make any changes in the theme section of the admin panel. I can only remove themes. I have been able to add themes via FTP, but I am very limited in what I can do in the admin panel. ALSO, none of the theme thumbnails are showing.
Is there anyway I can change the active theme? It is stuck on “Base” but Base does not exist because I deleted in hope of fixing the problem. I also cannot find the theme to re-upload it to see if that fixes it.
]]>I am on my website with /wp-admin at the end, I try my login and password, and nothing works. It even says my email adress doesnt exist.
I have surely done something wrong. Where do you create these logins / passowrds ? Is it by registering on this forum account ? Is it when you buy a premium account at wordpress.com ? I have done this and feel wasted money because I do not understand
I’ve been getting the following error over and over again within the W3TC plug-in:
Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File
“/home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/social-media-widget/social_widget.css” doesn’t exist.
I deleted that plug-in a long time ago, but it obviously has lingered….even to a new hosting provider.
I’ve tried to clear the cache, purge the file from the CDN, etc. Error still comes back. I know it was foolish to think that by hiding the message, it would go away.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
