Menu not updating

If I go to the home page, and then log in, and then return to the home page, the logged-out version of the menu is displayed. If I refresh the page, it does update. I disabled and removed the caching plugin I was using, but that didn’t help.

Embedded PDF cannot be changed via media uploader or ftp … UPDATE

I really like this plugin; it is tight and simple. I only need it to display a single-page pdf for fixed viewing and it does the job very presentably – and responsive view is great.

EDIT: The situation has normalised – I had de- and reactivated the plugin earlier with no effect, but I eventually uninstalled it, did all the cache clearing in the browsers etc. and having reinstalled and re-embedding the pdf it is now showing the latest version. I’m not sure if an issue is technically ‘resolved’ as I don’t have time to go through a test process tonight. I’ll still leave the initial info in case it helps with a possible unique issue.

The problem I’m having is that I updated the pdf and used the Media library to delete and then upload the edited version – but it doesn’t refresh to the new version – caches (all data) cleared, Chrome and Firefox. Even going into ftp delete-upload-view/edit, which proves out the new version of the pdf is the only one in the media library, will still result in a retained copy of the outdated document displaying on site. The edited version will not appear.

I am concerned there may be some caching issues with the Host, but that doesn’t appear to be the case because other updates and image uploads are immediately active.

FWIW – I will mention that today I am having editing issues with custom css the usual child-theme process as mentioned by another poster an hour ago, changes only override via the new 4.9.1 customizer – may or may not help understand this pdf issue. Thanks for looking at this. I appreciate your work with this plugin

Sync button doesn't update FTP deleted files

Hi, first of all, I don’t know where to put this comment about an apparent bug.
I’m testing your plugin, seems to be a great help.
I uploaded some files into a folder via FTP and some others via MLP. Then I deleted these files vía FTP and push the Sync button on MLP. The deleted files did not go away from MLP, they still show up, but they aren’t there.

Hack above header area – not allowing theme on homepage to be changed/corrected

Hi folks,
I’m new and need some help. It seems like our non-profit site at www.goldenhour.org was hacked by someone who linked over to a “bloody ass” link. I’ve updated to 4.2.1 and removed the cache plugins and all the pages change over to the new theme and don’t show the hack… except for the homepage which is the “blogging/news” page. It’s strange because it’s like the site is running two themes – one hacked on for the homepage and a second set all fixed… can anyone help me? Thanks so much, this is over my head.

Page title & Meta Description doesn't update on Google Search

Hi,

I have a problem with some of my pages. When I google search them the Page title and Meta Description is not the same as I’ve put in WordPress.

It’s been like this on some pages for several months and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

I’ve put in a certain text in wordpress of the page title and meta description but when I search the page on google I get up something else.

Does anyone know what can be the problem here? I’ve also connected my Google+ account to my website but my profile only shows up on certain page searches and not all of them.

Would really appreciate if someone knows how to fix this.

edit words out of the box

On one of my pages, “Welcome to Cold Symptom Killer” all the words in the view box are not contained in the box and run over the right edge of the box and under the right side column.
As soon as this problem occurred, when I added a line to this page, it updates in admin, but does not on the public side. My two other WordPress sites are working fine. Can anyone help?

I’ve recently installed a new template for my blog and now, the WP Statistic plugin doesnt work anymore.

It doesnt update no more… kinda wired…can you tell me WHY and HOW to resolve the problem?
