Hi,

We have used GIVE WP Donation plugin. We are using a Paypal payment gateway for site. After a successful donation, when I accessed the Donation History page; it shows me following message “It looks like you haven’t made any donations”.

Even for logged in user.

Dear Give Donation Team,
i have old user, let say the user is “user01” with email “[email protected]”.
admin delete this user from WP, with all data, include donation data.
one day user01 register again with same user and email. (user01 and email [email protected])
then user01 donate again after new register.
but history is not shown at history page.
and admin can see the donation is on th edonation list, only donor cant see the history. but new user with new email can see the history.
how that happen?
do you have any idea to solve the problem?

Donation History not showing on guests who register

Hi, thanks so much for this plugin! I have been coming across this problem, and having read all of the relevant topics for the past few hours, I can’t see that this has ben brought up before.

I currently have my site set up so users can make a donation without registering.

Then, as soon as they complete their payment (paypal), it is redirected to the site registration page (I am using Ultimate Member plugin for front end registration).

However, even if:
-users use the exact same email address as the one they used when they made the donation
-register immediately after beign redirected from paypal
-on the same browser and device

…their donations history page says “It looks like you haven’t made any donations.”

However, they can view their receipt just fine, even after registering/logging in.

I have tried clearing all my caches quite a few times, but it hasn’t had any effect.

I have tried using a number of different test account setups where guests donate first, then register, and it’s the same problem on all of them, where their donation history does not show.

The only time when the donation history is successfully showing is if users are registered first, and then they donate. However, I don’t want to make people have to register first.

[Plugin: Personal Fundraiser] Allow people to see a history of their donations?

I’m looking for the best way to link this plugin to profiles of individual members of a WP site, so a donor can first register with the site, make a donation, and then be able to see a ‘history’ of previous donations – much like this plugin is used at www.cure.org. Here, you can log in and see ‘my givings’ of previous causes you have helped fund.

Does anybody have any suggestions to how this might be achieved? It would be a bonus to find out from the plugin developers if they used a particular membership plugin available for WP
