on the website karmicbuzz.com i run an audit on ubersuggest and see that it got 64 (posts+pages) blocked from appearing in search engines.
these are all the urls with page id’s
for example: https://karmicbuzz.com/?p=1667 but when you click on it, it is redirected to its postname permalink structure i.e. https://karmicbuzz.com/blogs/.
Similarly, post https://karmicbuzz.com/?p=7116 when clicked opens to its postname permalink structure: https://karmicbuzz.com/meera-bai-from-a-princess-to-a-lover-of-sri-krishna/
the postname permalink structure url above is indexed and appears in the search engine.
But my question is that ‘Why is it that 2 permalinks are being created here? one with the page id (that shows in blocked pages) and another with the postname url. Check out this screenshot
https://snipboard.io/oTUMmr.jpg
Also, ‘Would this call for a penalty for double url from google?’
whitesmiledental.ie/nearest-dentist-to-me
it ranks on page 1 on google (ireland) – but also out of nowhere there is a kind of double URL too that is ranking also above the original blog post ranking
whitesmiledental.ie/nearest-dentist-to-me/nearest-dentist-to-me-2
this second url only seems to be a page with page title bar showing and my featured image of my original blog showing too but really small.
I did not create this second page and I dont know why it ranks? Does anyone know why this would happen and how to stop it?
]]>I added a new page https://www.toddbaker.net/home/work/field-producing and it doesn’t work like my previous pages. When I click on one of the images, instead of being sent to — for example — https://www.toddbaker.net/home/work/field-producing/cannon, I’m sent to https://toddbaker.net/home/work/field-producing/”http:/www.toddbaker.net/home/work/field-producing/cannon.
Notice that the second half of the doubled URL has only one slash mark after http:. That’s not the way I wrote it in my code. In fact, I’ve checked my code at least five times. There’s no errors.
GoDaddy.com recently did an update on its WordPress software. However, I believe this issue began prior to my clicking on the update.
Can anyone figure out why this page is behaving strangely?
Many thanks.
]]>I’m having the following problem: every time I type the address of my website without typing https:// before, I’m redirected to an error page and the URL appears as https://agenciamedup.com.br/https:/agenciamedup.com.br/
Can someone please help me?
]]>I have read through various forums but have not found a solution. I can’t code myself, so am looking for an easy to understand fix to this issue.
My web host has confirmed that nothing is wrong with my .htaccess file on my server.
Any ideas what could be the problem here?
Many thanks
Everything works (images, permalinks etc) but when I try to login as admin via https://blog.femmunity.nl/wp-admin/ i get a redirect to https://blog.femmunity.nlblog.femmunity.nl/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.femmunity.nl%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 (which offcourse does not work)
Currently no valid SSL certificate, so working on a HTTP connection, will fix that when I reach the site admin.
Googled my ass off (really did!) and tried the following:
in DB table wp_options both siteurl / home start with https://
Used default HTACCESS
Disable all plugins
I tried (and currently removed) in wp-config.php
define(‘RELOCATE’, true);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘https://blog.femmunity.nl’);
define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘https://blog.femmunity.nl’);
I have no clue where to look. I think it has something to do with the subdomain but I cannot figure out what.
]]>I have my URL as fedemordkoiwcz.com but my wordpress intallation in https://fedemordkowicz.com/web/ and the URL is https://fedemordkowicz.com
My Permalinks are set to default.
The .htaccess is right and all site works perfect
]]>Search engines GOOGLE and YANDEX show me a lot of 404 pages. Their urls are doubled and have extra characters, for example:
https://artti.ru/style/kak-tantsuyut-paryi/http%3A%2F%2Fartti.ru%2Fstyle%2Fkak-tantsuyut-paryi%2F
(real existing url is https://artti.ru/style/kak-tantsuyut-paryi)
The amount of such urls increases after adding new posts. So I have normal urls in the search (104 now) and such double urls excluded from the search (110 now).
My permalink structure is: https://artti.ru/%category%/%postname%/
My theme is ColorMag Pro (Premium)
My WordPress version is 4.7
My .htaccess file consists of:
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress

A tricky issue that someone could maybe help me solving
Currently designing a 3 languages website (fr/en/nl) under the Zephyr template.
The website is still in development
The installing of Polylang and the management of the different language pages have worked normally.
The website is fully functional
Except that
For some reason:
. When clicking on any post, it leads to a 404 page, no link found.
. The problem do not occure on any page, only posts are involved, whatever the selected language is
. On any clicked pots, the url language part is doubling to: /fr/fr/ so it can’t find the correct page
. Checking the permaling structure, it is (strangely) set to “personalised”, /index.php/fr/
But I don’t really know what else it should be…
Any idea what to change or update to get out of this situation?
Many super thanks

]]>My website’s home page logo duplicates the URL – https://infeira.pt/infeira.pt/
It’s a multi-site installation, comprising the main website and an international version https://international.infeira.pt (which works fine).
I also can’t connect JetPack –
“Your Jetpack has a glitch. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later, if the issue continues please contact support with this message: home_malformed
The required “home” parameter is malformed.”
So, I think I have some kind of error on the HOME parameters.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you
