Since, i have noticed a lot of problems with load time of the pages, sometimes the server/DB would be down and i would receive an error with establishing database connection, and resorting to fixing the problem with wp-config/repair. I’ve also had to redo some pages repeatedly while building it with the theme builder comp
onents, because it just crashes the server. I would like to know if this is an issue with the theme? or is it an issue with optimizing in general? I’ve installed optimization plugins like W3 Total Cache, and also using less components than i originally intended.
The home page and about pages i have no issues, but it is always with the portfolio pages that seem to timeout the entire site/server in general. It works perfectly fine until i try to open or edit these problem pages, then the entire site, even wp-admin doesn’t work until i close the loading tab, wait a few minutes and open again. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this kind of down time?
]]>I use the JetPack Monitor service and I get daily emails (sometimes more than once per day) letting me know that the website https://discoverportovenere.com is down. After some minutes (usually 3-10 minutes) I receive the email saying that the website is back online.
I contacted the Hosting provider and they say they do not see any server-related problems in their log (I own different websites with them but never receive this kind of Jetpack notification). discoverportovenere.com with th issue and it is the only website running the Sparkling Theme so I am wondering if there is an issue with the Theme?
Or could it be some of my plugins?
