To me this would mean that pages in Draft have to be ignored.
This is not the case. We get alerts that links in our draft pages are broken.
Am I doing something wrong?
We use:
Wordpress 5.4.2
DIVI 4.4.9
Broken Links Checker 1.11.13
I am changing the layout of the company i work for homepage.
I am keeping the same theme, I am just wanting to delete bits/ rearrange.
They want to see a live mockup of the homepage before I make the changes.
I just wondered how I could do this?!
Would it be possible to create a draft unpublished homepage?
Many Thanks!
What’s the best way to do this?
I was considering creating a draft page and then copying and pasting the contents into the existing page – thoughts?
I know I can remodel the existing page and preview it but a) I can’t link to previews (so i’ve been told) and b) I am effing clumsy and will probably update it instead of saving the draft.
thanks in advance!
]]>Is there a way I can stop it from flagging pages that I have in “draft” status and not yet published as “broken links” ?
I see that there is an option to not search posts in draft status, but is there a way to do this for pages as well?
I have several pages that are “under development” and not yet published, but broken link is marking them all as 404 errors because the pages themselves are not yet published.
Thanks
Michael

]]>I want that some of the pages should not be visible on my menu. But when user click on a button on a particular(visible) page it should redirect it to one of the hidden page. So what i am doing is saving the pages as draft. For registered user it is working fine. But for unregistered user it is showing page can’t be found.
Any one can help me in this matter?
Thanks and Regards

My question: is it possible to show draft (or pending review) pages in the page attributes ‘Parent page’ dropdown list? Without this, it means making each page live before the whole section is ready – and that’s not a suitable solution.
What I’ve tried:
Any suggestions? If the worst comes to the worst, then I suppose that I’ll have to hack WP core – but that’s obviously far from ideal and I absolutely don’t want to do it!
