Infinite load draft post ACF Frontend for Elementor

Hi I’m Alice,
I have a problem with viewing drafts via ACF Frontend in a Elementor template (Elementor Pro). That is, I create a new draft post without problem (this appears in the backend so it exists) but when I go to “add new post” and I try to load the previously saved draft, an icon of care appears that continues indefinitely.

Cant see draft posts on my website

Hi! I am new to wordpress and have been trying to create a blog website. I am struggling with the home page as I cant see what it would look like without any posts. I created a few draft posts hoping to see them on the website so I can play around with the layout but they are not there. So my question is, is there a way to see my draft posts on my website when I am customising it? If I click ‘publish’on my post, what will happen if I haven’t launched my website yet? I tried googling this a 1000 times but I just can’t find any information on this, please help!

P.S the weibsite is hosted on BlueHost but I am building in WordPress.com. I tried asking this question on the wordpress.com forum but was directed here. Hope I am in the right place this time.

As the text gathered by Youtube Subtitle Grabber needs editing why does the plugin publish the post?

Can I get it to save as ‘draft’ or ‘pending’ so I can then see what text I can use and also edit it to make better sense?

Preview Post: Error 404

Hi,
I’ve recently just been writing a new blog post and went to Preview the post and it throws up the Error 404 page.

I published the post to check if that works, and it works fine, no 404 errors once published, only when trying to view via Preview.

From checking other posts, it only seems to throw up the Error when previewing Draft posts.

I’m a complete novice when it comes to web design so I haven’t touched any of the coding manually. I run the theme ShopIsle, I’ve only noticed this error since updating this theme.

Any ideas on how to fix it? Like I said I’m a novice so I need simple terms.

Importing books with “draft” status instead of “publish”

I’ve written my own MBT importer, which was fairly easy to do given your “mbt_importers” and “mbt_pre_import_book” filters. Nice architecture.

However, the base function that creates an mbt_book post hard-codes the post_status field as “publish.” I would like to preview, tweak, and/or approve the posts I bring in through my import process, so it would be very cool if you could allow me to specify the post_status in the book objects my importer generates. The changes to mbt_import_book would be fairly trivial and shouldn’t affect your other importers if your $defaults array included a “publish” post status and your wp_insert_post call pulled post_status from the $book array.

The cool thing about this change would be that you (and I) could add a radio button or check box to the import form that would let users choose to import posts as drafts or published posts. I think some would appreciate that option.

Draft Post – lost forever?

Hi everyone!

So I draft a lot of posts on WordPress mobile, especially when I’m in an area without cell service (so they save locally and when I’m later by wifi I update the drafts)

I wrote a really long post and accidentally deleted it. Is there any way I can access it and restore the post via the back end somehow?

Not sure if more info is needed. Thanks for the help!

When the new posts are imported, they are only appearing in Draft. The status is Published on the source Feed.

Draft posts showing up on live site. ACK!

Anyone know why draft posts are suddenly showing up on the live wordpress site? They’re showing up on the homepage when I click “Load More” at the bottom of the page at www.nubry.com – and it’s showing thumbnails of draft posts…when I click on them, I get a 404, but still, this is no good

I’ve NEVER seen this happen, I had no idea it was possible. I don’t think it’s the theme itself, it might be wordpress..ugh, I dont know. I’ve tried reaching out to the theme devs a few times about other things and they have never responded, so I’d rather ask here about this one…

Can't make full use of space when drafting post

I can’t seem to use the full space in my WordPress to write out a post. The sentence always gets truncated and moved to the next line at the middle of the screen (see screenshot below)

This only happened when I upgraded to 3.8 and used the Twenty Fourteen theme. I have done re-installs of the theme and I still get this error.

Anyone else facing this error?
