After deactivating all plugins I was still getting the error. I got it to go away by deactivating the Astra theme and using a WP core theme. After reactivating Astra the error continues if you want to edit the password protection but at least I can momentarily deactivate the theme to make the update to it. More or less I think I am reporting a bug. If not please let me know if there is something I can do to fix this.
Thanks!
4 stars because DreamHost made it difficult to delete the plugin after migration.
]]>I got an email this morning from DreamShield, the security folks at DreamHost, and it claims there is malicious software on my site. Specifically, formselector.es5.js is supposedly “malicious content”. I downloaded the file and the package on this site, and the files are identical. I replied to them with this info, but there hasn’t been enough time for them to respond yet. I suggest you check it out on your end, though.
I’m not sure why literally after months of using this plugin on this host this would pop up. Looks like there is some licensing info in it, but that wouldn’t be anything new that I’m aware of.
]]>Tried:
Clearing the cookies and browsing history, restarting my PC, used Chrome & Edge browsers, and refreshes.
]]>So I’m on DreamHost and while I can edit my .well-known files, it doesn’t actually let me add files, so this plugin doesn’t work.
Is there any kind of alternative for that situation?
]]>I have tried the suggestions on this post. When I check my error logs, I see multiple errors that seem to indicate that whenever I’ve tried to change the global styles on my website, it reads as an attack on my database.
This is where I’ve hit the limit of my knowledge. Can anyone help?
]]>Having issues with SiteKit failing to login upon setting up sites with Dreamhost on a Shared server. They know of the problem and suggested i open a ticket to figure out the resolution. It appears to only effect the shared server we have as our dedicated server is fine.
We have tried it on fresh sites, Sites that have been up for a while it only effects their shared server.
Any help would be much appreciated.
]]>Last few days was it was completely down.
