Dropping Column

Hi,

I am a WP and Avada Theme rookie. I am not familiar with CSS coding and use only settings provided with WP app and Theme options. After updating some of the plugins a started to have problems with column spacing. In every container last column drops to the next line. The exceptions are portfolio elements and blog elements. You can fix this manualy in the column settings but doing this with every column seems kind of pointless. I tried reseting all of the settings and wiped all data from the WP folder. I set the page once again and downloaded the WP, set a theme and a demo to check if everything is fine. Unfortunately not. I will appreciate any ideas.

Sessions Drop Sporadically

Im using your plugin to manage sessions for our website, but the sessions keep dropping randomly. I can’t find a consistent pattern either. One second my session will be there well within its timeout window then poof, just gone. Im echoing out the session variable to keep track of them and seemingly out of nowhere they just get destroyed.

My cookies too.

I dont think im running out of memory or anything, i believe its set up in the backend php.ini file to use memcached atm. It was using file, but that was creating the same behavior. Can you assist on this or provide some insight? I would greatly appreciate any help this has gone on for over a week now and is causing issues.

Multiple shipping costs in cart

Hello,

I am setting up a web shop with various drop-ship products from various suppliers. A few products are free shipping, others are per item, and others are per order. Often there will be multiple shipping costs applied (which ideally I’d like set out individually before payment). Can anyone advice on the best and easiest way to apply this (ideally free)?

Visitors loosing connection with Quick Chat

I have some issues with visitors using Quick Chat. Firstly they tend to drop out often but leave their nickname which stays visible for ten minutes. When the visitor tried to log in again they are forced to use another nickname until their previous one disappears. Even then the new name takes up to 2-3 minutes to change from Guest XXX.
The strange thing is I never drop out and seem to be the only one who doesn’t even when logged on as a normal visitor.
No one has registered names.
Any light on these issues would be appreciated.

subcategories dropping off in the appearance menu

hey there,

I’m trying to organise all my product categories in the appearance menu in the admin section for the main menu. However when I add the final 3 categories and click ‘save menu’ they simply disappear and they do not appear on the front end.

I have a large number of product categories 79 sub, 11 parent to be exact, is there a limit as to how many categories you can feature on a wordpress site?

Lightbox Dropping to Bottom Since WP 3.5 Upgrade

Since I have upgraded to WordPress 3.5, there is some very strange behavior with the lightbox. Instead of loading at the top of the page, it is dropping and loading near the bottom, and keeps dropping down even more when you click through the arrows to see the other images. Prior to the upgrade, the plugin worked perfectly for over a year.

Any help in resolving this issue would be much appreciated.

Sidebar just dropped below the page

Hello, I am hoping that someone can help. Two days ago I had an issue where none of my links were working. I was told to reset the permalinks section and when I did, everything started working fine. This brought (I believe anyway) the sidebar issue. I have a few linked images, Facebook widget, twitter, and an aweber widget. They all started to display all over the pages at the bottom middle, and the twitter posts started scrolling right across the page. I have gone into the widget section and removed the widgets from the side bar, only to have them magically reappear when I got back to the widget area after viewing my homepage. These issue are on all sidebars that have the same images. I have checked the code and I can’t find any

or <\div> out of place. The links on them all work. I have now resorted to adding all the code in a single text box. This worked for the two image links and Facebook code but not the sign up script and the twitter widget. Any thoughts?

Sidebar font has enlarged, dropping sidebar below posts

I use WordPress at my blog, which is hosted on GoDaddy. (https://echoesinthewind.net/) I use the Kubrick theme, and sometime over the weekend, the font size on the sidebar increased, knocking the sidebar down below the posts. This only happens when I am showing posts. When I view a page, click a tag or do a search, the sidebar font goes back to normal and the sidebar appears on the right side of the page, as is should. (For the time being, I made a new page and set that as the default view, and the font size of the sidebar was normal.) I went to the other themes offered, did previews, and the same thing took place, so switching themes is not an option (nor is it my preference). I am limited in what I can do; I do not know how to access the HTML for the theme. Can someone help?

Hi,

I am using wp 3.01 with Twenty Ten theme. I am using 2 column with right sidebar. I am using only the first sidebar with 2 widget containers. I have 4 widgets in footer area.
I have 2 browsers (Mac-Safari and XP-Firefox) that cannot hold the sidebar in place for single post entry. Pages work fine, however.

All other browsers I tested work fine, including MAC-Floc, IE-8, MAC- Firefox, MAC-Chrome.

I just can’t find the problem and appreciate any help here. Thanks so much,

Sidebar Drops Below Footer

Hey, Im having a problem with the sidebar displaying below the foot in firefox and I have no idea why. The site codes validates, and the original html/css displays that element in the correct location. Any help is much appreciated because Im very frustrated by this.
