I have seen a few Drupal to WordPress plugins, and have read mixed reviews on them. Has anyone had any recent success with moving a Drupal site to WordPress? I am thinking that improvements may have been made in products, and/or new methods may have been discovered. I also wonder if such a movie would be partially automated, and partially manual. I am looking to move a Drupal 6.1 site to WordPress. Does anyone have an advice or tips? Thanks.
]]>I am importing from a Drupal 6 site that has a node with a problem. One of the media files linked to in the blog post itself is missing, it has been deleted. This error on import causes the whole thing to stall, it has sat like this (see screenshot) for three hours.

Is there an option that I can flag for “continue on error”?
Thanks,

]]>I am currently working on creating a WordPress site that I migrated over from Drupal. I used this plugin to do so: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/fg-drupal-to-wp/
All the content came over, I had to download the Toolset Custom Post Type: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/types/ plugin to view all the content that came in from Drupal.
However, in Drupal, when a pdf was attached to a post, it would display on that post as a link someone could click and download. In WordPress, the pages came in empty and only displayed the Title of these posts. In the Media library, all of the attachments did come in and it says that this specific post is “attached” to its respective post. It is attached but I am unable to see it when I click on the respective post.
Is there a way to fix this? Or a way to display all attached documents to posts within the post? A plugin of some sort?
]]>Honestly though, I’m not rating the product, which great, I’m rating the customer service. We had an issue happen on a weekend and needed direction. We were prepared to wait until the following week to get a response, but to our surprise, not only did we get a response, but we got a recommendation that immediately solved our problem. A product is nothing without its customer support, and support here is without a doubt top notch.
]]>One or two fields were not transferring initially – but the support I received was fantastic, the bug fixed quickly and everything then worked perfectly.
]]>When I click “Test the database connection” the button goes gray for a moment and comes back, no message states that it works or not.
However, it does connect. I know because the Partial Import (expand/collapse) shows the content types when I expand it.
When I start/resume the import, it shows “Importing” for about 1 second, and returns to “Start/resume import”
Nothing at all appears in the log.
Please help
]]>EXAMPLE: On my website (Still running Drupal, building a WordPress site in the background). people can submit a school listing (name, address, website, etc). And when someone goes to the SCHOOL LISTING page it creates a “VIEW” (a page) displaying all submitted schools.
Are there plugins for this? How does one go about creating this? Is it a widget I add to a page?
As you can see I am very confused and extremely new to WordPress. Thanks in advance for your help.

]]>Can you tell me if I will be able to do this with your plugin ?
I am migrating a shop with blog posts and products pages.
I will install the new Woocommerce shop at the same Domain name as it was before.
I will import the blog posts and products pages from the old database but cannot keep these pages at the same URL during import.
Is it easy with your plugin to redirect all the previous blogs and products URLs to the new ones created during the import of the old website ?
Sorry for the question but I need to plan how to proceed before starting the migration.
Thank you.
