I am using the Yoast SEO plugin for my website www.fortekgmbh.com
First, I give some info on how the site is constructed.
– Child Theme of Zerif Lite
– WordPress option “Front page displays” set to “Your latest posts”.
– Stripped Customizer functionality from the theme, as I don’t use it.
– Text Content is “hard coded” into the .php files, ie. /sections/aboutus.php /sections/ourfocus.php
– Menu links on the front page point to #anchors, ie. #aboutus #focus
I want to achieve the following:
– Edit Yoast SEO snippet for each section
– Define focus keyword for each section.
However, the “Front page displays” leads to no possibility to access the Yoast SEO panel for the front page. SEO panel is only available for posts and static pages.
How to make it possible, to define keywords for each section of the front page?

thx a lot for that.
now there is one thing i can’t get working (probably because of limited coding knowledge).
i wanted to create a page template to display static content and post from a certain category in the same page.
i managed to display recent posts in my static page but without any styling and also not posts from a specific category.
is there any one who already created a template using integrated model for hueman.
Thanks in advance.

I recently created a new page on my site (“Scribbles”) that I would like to make posts on but differentiate from my main blog on the home page. In other words, I would like to make posts on this page but I do not want these posts to appear on my home page.
Under the Menu section, my home page is currently labeled “custom” and not “page” like the other pages in my menu. Up until this point, I have just been adding new blog posts and they have been appearing on this home page.
I am unclear whether I should change my front page to a “Static Page with Blog Posts” or a “Dynamic Front Page.” Currently this is not even an option with my home page (I suspect because it is labeled custom and not page?)
Furthermore, does it make more sense to leave it as is and install a plugin that will add posts to my Scribbles page?
Thank you for advising!
]]>I’ve set my files up so that my home page is static and my posts page is entitled “Events Calendar”.
In header.php of my template, I am able to reference the Events Calendar page by way of “$wp_query->is_posts_page”, but in page.php not so much.
No amount of
will work. I’ve tried using the slug, the actual page title, etc.
It must be something simple. Any help very much appreciated…
