I tried to add a photo *the wrong way* on Home Top Feature – I tried to drag and drop instead of uploading. This caused the photo to open in the tab I was using. I used the back button to return to WordPress and uploaded the photo the correct way, and saved. However, somewhere in this process all other headers and footers and logo were cleared. And saved that way.
Is there some way I can go to a previous version of this theme, before I made changes?

Trying to downgrade wordpress

I know there are other posts about this, because i’ve read them and no one seems to have the problems I have.
So basically I’m using this process:

but upon deleting wp-admin and wp-includes I just get 500+ error messages saying I don’t have permission, I can’t seem to change the permissions in bulk so even when i do it for a directory, I get 499+ error messages saying i can’t delete them.

I tried re-naming the folders, and importing the new ones but i just get a ton of error messages.

My theme is non-functional, or at least non-formattable in 4.0 and I already paid for it.

I could really use some help.

Can I revert to an earlier version in order to retrieve it?
I will be impossible to recreate…
