The embedpress plugin is being flagged as Unsafe Content by Microsoft Defender SmartScreen.
Users have reported a red screen over the embedpress pdf location with Microsoft Defender SmartScreen has blocked this unsafe content.
I have been able to replicate this and reported the URL as safe to Microsoft, however, it is not a great issue to have as my client is hosting their corporate presentation on this page.
I checked on Chrome and firefox and it does seem to be an Edge browser specific issue, although I did find a 404 console warning on chrome dev tools :Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () related to the plugin viewer properties /wp-content/plugins/embedpress/assets/pdf/web/locale/en-GB/viewer.properties
Is there a solution to ensure that the plugin won’t get flagged as unsafe content? It is one of the best one’s I found, so I’d hate to have to replace it.
]]>as you can see in this page, all buttons should bring back a popup.
i’ve tried several times to clear the cache and connect via “in private” mode with no success.
no one of the popups will pop via buttons in Edge Browser.
what can i do please?
thank you!
As soon as you scoll up on a page built with this theme, the sticky Header menu jumps to the Bottom of the screen!
There’s no promlem with Firefox or Chrome. And it even works perfect in IE!!
But Microsoft’s default kills it all.
Please HELP! ASAP!
I might have found a Bug in the most recent version of Storefront.
When you open a product page in Microsoft’s Edge browser (try it with this: https://themes.woocommerce.com/storefront/product/standard-colander/) a button with white font on any other background will not be shown (it’s there but you only see it in the html or when selecting all text on page) until after you hover above the button at least once.
Then the button’s background color will finally be shown, so that one can read the text on it.
I guess it’s only a problem when you’re using white or any other light font. Firefox and Chrome seem to be fine, it’s just Edge.
Unfortunately I cannot test it on any other computer right now, maybe one of you could try to reproduce the bug?
I’d file a bug report over there at https://github.com/woocommerce/storefront, but before I do that I need to know that it’s not only my pc behaving weirdly. Also I’m not sure about the etiquette here, when to talk about a problem only here on support and when to move it over to git.
Any hints how to proceed (and even fixes for this problem, if anyone happens to find the source of it) would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I’m seeing this even on the official site: https://www.masterslider.com/
When clicking to the next slide it freezes up and then a few seconds later shows the next slide with no animation shown.
]]>Not sure if you are still interested in working on this plugin but if you are I would like to ask if you might consider adding support for Windows 10 OS and the Edge browser.
This is an excellent plugin and there is nothing else like it for WordPress. I would have no problem Donating or paying directly for an updated version.
Keep up the good work

]]>It’s a one page site that has left and right sidebars and a center column that contains two yendif audio playlist players. The players display and function perfectly in Firefox and Chrome browsers… but not so with Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft edge.
When I bring up the site in IE and Edge it displays “code” where the two Yendif play bars should be… i.e.
type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”>
If I go into setting in Edge and turn off Adobe Flash (which as I said isn’t installed !?!) this problem goes away. But I cannot count on people who would visit the site… when it goes live… to have this turned off. Could this be some kind of conflict between Flash and HTML5??
I tried to look at the source code in IE but it wouldn’t come up.
I did see one post that indicated this could be solved by adding a “if (browser version here) then…….
If anyone could guide me through that process or another solution I would truly appreciate it.
Thanks

]]>The site displays and works fine in both the Firefox and Chrome browsers.
However, there’s a glitch with the Win 10 “Edge” browser. Flash player is integrated with Win 10 and apparently when the operating system is installed the flash player is “on” by default.
When flash is enabled in the Edge browser settings… the bolded lines below appear along the top of the player… and the demo audio tracks will not play.
==============================
Example:
>>>> Tom’s Demos:
type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”>
COMMERCIALS
NARRATIONS
PROMOS / IMAGING
INTERNET
type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”>
ELEARNING
TELEPHONE / ON HOLD
DOCUMENTARIES <<<<<
================================================
When I turn off flash in the Edge settings everything appears as it should and the demo audio plays.
My concern is that once my site is live anyone who visits it via the Win 10 Edge browser with flash enabled will see this glitch and won’t be able to hear my demos.
any thoughts on how to sort this out would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks
