I recently have tried to edit some custom fields. But the edit mode (interface) is damaged: so I cannot access the necessary fields to do some changes and save them. I’ve searched the forum but did not find any related topics.

Changes Not Showing up

I have edited the home page of my site to include a third book. I published the changes, previewed, and all looks good. But when I log out of wordpress and go to the site, the changes have not been reflected. I’ve tried clearing my cache and republishing several times. Can you help?

Making content edits carry across all 3 responsive modes

Hello,
I have just found that editing content when I am viewing desktop mode does not carry over or save these changes to tablet or mobile mode. If you look at the page link above, the content (images and text) is very different viewed on a desktop to a mobile. The products shown (images, descriptions, links) are current on the desktop but in some cases 6 months old when viewed on a mobile. Everything I read seems to suggest that content edits should transfer across the 3 modes…edit one and it saves changes to all three. I stress that I am not talking about style or layout here. I have a layout that I do not want to change, just want to be able to edit the content as products change. How do I make my content edits carry across all 3 modes? Thanks Chris

Won’t Format Long Content and Pic Sizing Dropdown Fails

Hi,

Creating tabs on https://rasmitmug.com/main/barmm/ and for the third content was trying to add a long text, the content of: https://rasmitmug.com/main/barmm/ra-11054/. But it won’t allow me to paste the long content! It pastes the item and then won’t allow me to submit it. Will retain the lorem ipsum content.

Also when adding pic files, the dropdown for the image size (small, mediuma, etc.) won’t stay dropped long enough for me to choose a sizing for the media file. Why?

Content being deleted after update

I have been working on our website change some text and content and sometimes when I hit the update button all of the work I have done disappears. Not only does the content disappear but occasionally some of the templates we use disappear. When we are doing the editing we aren’t editing the coding, just changing text and photos. To make matters worse trying to revert to previous revisions doesn’t work. I can see the changes and edits between the two revisions but when I try to restore them it doesn’t work. Would love some help with this issue.

Cannot locate text that needs to be changed within admin console

Hi there, I’m hoping someone can help me.

I need to update text on a page of a website I admin but whilst the string appear in the source code, it does not appear as an editable block on the page within the admin console.

I think the code must be being pulled from another file but I’m unable to find where it’s located. Have tried the plug-in “string locator” but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Editing with MotoPress

When I try to edit elements on a page using MotoPress it opens a window with script for the entire page titled edit WordPress text.

Does MotoPress support editing individual elements with a GUI or do I have to 1. wrangle with its scripts in a text editor or
2. buy a pro licence to get this functionality ?

Editing content on bilingual website

I am working on a bilingual website, translating in WordPress from English to Spanish. To date, I have not been able to delete extraneous content–in this case, English-language content and a Google Spanish translation–so that the only thing that appears is my revised translation. It is also not possible to delete punctuation marks, dates, etc. Please enlighten.
