Editor Not Working Only On My Devices

Hi, I have been having trouble with WordPress the last few weeks, my iMac and MacBook will not load the editor at all on our wordpress site – it just loads a blank white page. I’ve tried to log in as other admins on our site and it does the same thing. However if I use someone elses computer and log in as them or me it works fine. Both of my devices are doing the same – I’ve cleared all browsing data and cache, updated chrome, updated my Mac OS system, cleared my desktop of all unnecessary files to make sure there is a lot of space on the computer. I’m at a loss at this stage, I can’t edit the site at all and I’ve tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions on how to get this working again on my own devices?

The site currently uses the Gutenberg editor and will be moved to Elementor but for now the issue is that it just refuses to the editor on my devices

Kubio Editor not loading

Hi!

Just recently Kubio editor has stopped working. If I try to edit a page with Kubio it briefly loads and then stops loading and I’m presented with a white screen. Nothing else loads.

Pages can be edited if I choose to edit them with the classic editor, but not Kubio. Unfortunately, I don’t have any error codes or anything to show you. The page is just blank.

I’ve tried all the usual stuff such as trying on other devices, other browsers, clearing cache etc. Nothing works.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Editor blocked with latest update

The editor stopped working with activated Editor Plus Plugin on posts and pages.

Deactivated Editor Plus Plugin (everything worked fine except missing modifications), reactivated it and seem to be able to edit again but with the following issues shown in my browser console:

Issues in editor when SG optimizer is active

First: A BIG THANK YOU for SG Optimiser – it makes my sites so much faster and is really easy to use – a fantastic feature that makes me continue to recommend you for hosting.

For a while now I have been getting issues when editing posts/pages. These disappear when I deactivate SG Optimizer. (Note: none of these show up on the front end of the site)

In the editor, the page sometimes does not save or does not preview in new tab. The saving indicator (with the cloud icon) at the top of the editor just keeps pulsing.

Should I exclude js minification from operating on the backend? Or should I exclude SG Optimiser entirely from the backend/editor? If so, how is this done please.

Another (probably related) issue is that when SG optimiser is active, a number of blocks that retrieve post images (e.g. recent posts block, Flex-Posts block) fail to do so in the back end unless SG Op is deactivated.

Moved site to a new host: content visible on live site, but missing in editor

I migrated a WordPress site created by a 3rd party to a new hosting (GoDaddy). When you visit the site, all the content is there. When I try to edit the content, entire pages are blank.

This site was created before I was involved with it. The previous website manager walked me through the process of migrating the website to the new host. Here are the steps I took:

1. Went to previous host cpanel:
>Downloaded a Home Directory Backup
>Downloaded MySQL Backup

2. Went to new host (GoDaddy) cpanel:
>Uploaded both the home directory and MySQL

3. Edited the wp-config.php using this guide https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/editing-wp-config-php/

Version 1.16.15 Issues

Just updated to V 1.16.15 and could no longer edit post/pages. Load time was horrible.

Main issue is broke the classic editor and my fav, Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Could no longer edit pages unless did so in HTML mode.

Plus, when trying to customize theme options, site would really bog down. Like really, really slow.

Soon as deactivated One Signal plugin, all returned to normal.

How can I get the older version of One Signal? Never had a moments issue until few hours ago when updated.

All Posts Gone!!!!

.I have membership website and had a member contact me to say my latest blog post “page could not be found”…so installed WPv5.3 and nothing happened..same thing ALL POSTS AND ARCHIVED POST SIMPLY GONE.

Went in took a look and 3YRS WORTH OF WORK IS COMPLETELY MISSING.
Had them double check at Bluehost and they see nothing on the post side either.

Obviously this was a problem before I updated to V5.3, but then there’s something called “block editor” which was giving me fits to begin with, so installed “classic editor w/v5.3

Can anyone verify if they have pages/posts/media missing as well and does anyone have a clue as to what the huckleberry is happening?

What this means is that the BU I did today over on Bluehost gives me a crappy copy of my website content…last UPdate there was back in November 2019..gonna bite hard if I have to go back in and redo all the work I’ve done!

I am Having a couple of issues. The editor is not full screen and I cannot toggle between the text and visual. the media library is also coming up as a blank page.

Menu items in admin not responsive

I have two issues with the theme
1. menu items in admin cant be moved around (sticky)
2. editor edit window does not populate

I have no idea how it happens, perhaps its cache related?

Stopped switching from visual editor to text editor

I have read through many of the discussions regarding this topic and have followed many of the suggestions without luck. My problem started only 2 days ago and so we have gone back to try to review any actions that were taken on that day to help identify issues. We didn’t find any abnormal actions were being taken on that day.
I have done the following:
Updated all plugins
Updated the theme in use
Deleted all plugins not active
Deactivated all plugins
Reactivated plugins one by one
Tested different themes…same problem
Re-installed the theme being used (Divi)
Re-installed wordpress with exceptions of wp-content .htaccess, wp-config.php
Turned on debug…turned off debug
Cleared all cache memories I can find
I still have not seen any true fix for this problem but, I also have not seen a true identification of the cause either. It seems most are just good guesses of what might work.
So, my bottom line is I am dead in the water until I can figure out how to get into the “Text” editor to modify the code we are using.
I would love to resolve this issue so I can move forward.
Could this possibly be an editor issue and by installing a different plugin for the editor resolve the issue?
Thank you for any new suggestions that might bring resolution.
