Blocks overlapping others in page editor

I’ve a strange issue which has appeared. I’ve a page with a group at the bottom of it, but that group is being displayed over the top of content further up. Also, it appears that the content is being displayed *underneath* the panels at the bottom of the page, for example, if Yoast is activated, the Yoast panel blocks part of the editor.

I’ve disabled all plugins and reverted to Twenty Twenty One and I’m still seeing hte same issue.

This content displays fine on the page. It’s only wrong in the editor!

Using: 0 plugins. Twenty Twenty One. WordPress 5.7.2.

Galleries do not load in editor anymore

Hello.
Lately our page ran into the issue that Visual Portfolio galleries no longer load.
We made a reusable block with a gallery with 5 images, as seen here under “Custom Image gallery”: https://killerskins.com/yoru/infos/creator-resources-infos/
Now the problem is that it can’t be used as in the website editor none of the Visual Portfolio galleries load and they can only be edited in the block editor on the right side of WordPress.
Any idea what to do on this? And can I just reinstall the whole plug-in, or will that destroy all the existing galleries?

Can’t Change Post Template, Add Tags or Pictures

Since the update, I am unable to do basic things in the post editor?

+ I can’t change post template, when I click on a template, WordPress just jumps to the top of the page?

+ When I try to add post tags nothing happens?

+ When I try to toggle between Visual and Text editor nothing happens?

+ When I try to try images it takes me to a full page screen where I can choose an image or upload, but there is no option to return to my blog post?!

I’ve updated all my pluggins, I’ve tried Safari and Google Chrome, updated my Mac. Can anyone help!

Editor Page Problems

When I am writing in Gutenberg, the lower area of the editor won’t keep moving down to let me keep editing. The blocks get stuck behind the boxes for SEO, sharing and etc. This didn’t happen at first but after I made a very long post, it’s been broken ever since. The posts look fine (hence no link) but it’s basically impossible to do a post more than about 3 blocks because they get hidden behind the areas at the bottom of the editor that are supposed to move down. I have this installed on 2 sites and only one of them is having this error. Same plugins on both. I tried turning on and off plugins…no luck. What to do?

styles.css editor is not saving

Hi I have a big issue,
I changed nothing on the core of wordpress only on the css of my child theme. If I am now trying to update the styles.css in design editor wordpress is not saving but downloads the file theme-editor.php instead.

I can not figure out what the problem is.

Not seeing my text in the editor at all

I am using the latest version of WordPress, theme, and all my plugins are updated. Within the last week, I have been having problems with the editor. After I hit Update or Publish, I cannot see the written content at all in the editor (visual and text). However, if I preview the page (if it’s updated, but not published) or view the page once it’s published, I can see the content is showing up on my website (even though I can’t see it in the editor part of WordPress).

Because I can’t see the content in the editor, I cannot make edits to the content after I hit Update or Publish. I tried disabling all my plugins and then activating them one at a time, and even that, hasn’t helped the situation.

Any words of advice, please?

Cannot get access to theme editor

Since installing this great plugin, I no longer see the Editor option under Dashboard > Appearance – for editting my theme files.

Can anyone tell me what I have to correct/undo to get this back?

Editor not working

My visual and html editors have stopped working. I have figured out that it is youtube plugins that are causing it. I have tried three different plugins. Advanced Youtube embed, youtube, and vixy youtube embed.

There were no updates done between the time it was working and the time it stopped. There are no updates that are waiting to be done. The vixy plugin was the one I was originally using, I uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn’t change anything.

Any suggestions on further things I can try or look for?

Locating WordPress Posts & Pages

Where does WP save posts and pages?

I want to edit items that the editor will not access (built into the theme).

Also if I have a corrupt theme can I reinstall it without losing the specific widgetized items for that theme? They should have code that the theme will be able to re-access to arrange theme in the correct manner right?

Formatting issues continue years after first reports of issues

The ongoing issues that are effecting the visual and html editor, also known as Tiny MCE, has been reported on this forum for years, yet we still do not have a fully functional editor, without disabling large portions of the code base, I searched this forum for some explanation and or a fix, however there does not appear to be any real solution other than removing the editor and stripping out the code from the process, this seems unproductive and should be addressed.

I include several threads that are in some cases years old, yet this problem still exists today, in version 3.2 is there not a solution to this issue, It is really frustrating to spend time developing code then to have that code removed, as some kind of misguided method of (cleaning up) after a faulty editor,

For example if you enter the html mode, and enter in line breaks, and or other html code, such as a you tube video, it will stip it out at a later time and date, perhaps long after you have lost track of that particular code or video it does this without asking it is really irritating, when you have code that you “think” is saved in the database and it gets removed without any indication that it ever existed.

Can we please have this issue fixed, I would like to be able to develop my own html code, from my own sources, I could just upload it manually but that sort of defeats the need of using the platform to begin with.
