Problem deactivating EditorMonkey 2.5

Hello.
I’m using EditorMonkey 2.5 plugin in order to get better WYSIWYG support.

If I try to deactivate the plugin (for using default WP toolbar), the toolbar is only displying with textbuttons, and I can’t get the default toolbar with icons.

Any idea to fix this issue?

TinyMCE strips paragraphs for users not logged in

I’m using the EditorMonkey implementation of TinyMCE for the comments form and it has a strange habit of stripping out all paragraphs or line breaks in the comment. The result is a big run-on comment. This does not affect users who are logged in, though the only logged-in users are both admins. Since the author has more-or-less abandoned the plugin, I can’t go to him with questions. I can readily reproduce the issue in both Firefox 2 and IE6.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I don’t want to ditch the editor if possible (it has some great upload features).

Hi guys, can you guys find for me a nice plugin for 2.05 that allow you to directly upload pictures, files etc on my server directly ? Right now, I am using EditorMonkey WYSIWYG editor. But to upload files, you need to manually upload files with ur FTP and post the link there. Pls help..

What is the most trouble free wysiwyg editor that offers basic features such as bold, italic, underline, links

AND

a) strike through and subscripts
b) justification, indent, spacing
c) images (with positioning)
d) TABLES with cell spanning and all

I have a bunch of html-illiterate editors that need to produce formatted text, including tables, without coding skills.

EditorMonkey and dBeautifier Plugin

Can anyone help me to get the dBeautifier plugin to work using EditorMonkey editor. Every time I enter the dBeautifier tag, EditorMonkey strips the tag.

How do you add a valid tag for dBeautifier to EditorMonkey?

Unfortunately neither of these plugins are currently supported by their authors, but I belive that they are being used throughout the WordPress community.

Hopefully someone will be able to assist me.

I set up EditorMonkey for someone because they use Safari and trying to explain how to switch to FireFox over the phone was going nowhere. However, EditorMonkey is acting like an idiot and I can’t figure out what’s wrong:

I’m using TinyMCE for the interface. Bold, italics, underline, and all of the other options do nothing. And paragraph breaks are actually appearing as

in the code. And no space between lines.

And the HTML editor only shows a few check boxes with {$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}{$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}{$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}{$lang_theme_code_wordwrap}

Something isn’t right. I think I might have to get him to use FireFox because this is screwed up. Thoughts?

Problem validating Barthelme

Error Line 53, column 7: end tag for element "style" which is not open.

Searched for an hour or so and I can’t find where this tag is. It appears to be before the wp-content/themes/Barthelme/header.php file and I’m starting to suffer from Brain Cloud.

I was hoping that someone here might have a clue? To casually flick in my direction?

search function and editormonkey

i have quite weird problem with search function in wordpress. if i am using built-in rich editor everything is searched good (including czech special characters), but when i am using editomonkey, it converts czech characters into something like this á instead of “á” and so on. and that is the problem. the built-in and any other plugin search function aren’t working with this. is any possibility to solve this?

I was dumb and I installed and used the EditorMonkey plugin awhile back. I decided I didn’t like what it was doing, so I took the plugin back off, and ever since, I don’t get the cool editormonkey editor for my admin panel. I get the old way of editing my posts. I don’t see the monkeyeditor at all, and its got me a bit pissed off really. Does anyone know how I can get my adminpanel back to normal?
