Hi everyone, Over the years I have tried to start my online business many times. This time, I just had a big bd last week, and so I’ve been working really hard to make it happen this time. Teaching myself Final Cut Pro, lightroom, and a ton of other apps. I’m now tackling my website myself.

I am having such a hard time trying to get my header with navigation on my wordpress site updated. I’m new to updating my site, as my previous designer can’t help any longer. My business has changed as I’m no longer selling photography products, and am focusing on my food business. At this point, I can’t pay anyone, because I”m on unemployment, but I”m trying to get it done myself.

I’m using WP with Ocean WP with Elementor.

I used this Ocean WP video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ryxEl5cOes to try to create a custom header that is under my OceanWP library. I’ve created it and it’s there, when I go to OceanWP>mylibrary but when I go to my wp dashboard and go to appearance>header>general and change style to customer header, and template to header. But this page shows a totally different page that is my archive of my blog posts. This page is at the top of several of the links, and then, other pages have a totally different header. So, my website has three different headers, and I”m not sure how to get the one I created thats in the Oceanwp library to be the only one.

So, I’m so frustrated, I’ve been working on trying to fix this for about a month, so I wanted to see if anyone has suggestions.

There are three different headers.The one I want has the search over on the right side of the same line as the navigation and logo.

The second header has the search being on a different side right column.

The third header shows a simple logo with a grey block that I don’t want and doesn’t have the search box next to the navigation menu.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

WordPress header not displaying correctly on all browser (All content Mex up)

The website header is designed with Elementor(elementor header footer plugin), by me. Background in my logo

Hello all and Happy New Year.

I am new in Elementor. I have created my portfolio site.

Yesterday I made some changes in my css and suddenly a transition background appears under my logo.

Every new image I am trying to add has the same background.

Do you have any idea of what shall I do?

Header dropdown menu is offset when cklicked first time

Hi community,

What I am using:

OceanWP theme
Elementor plugin
Elementor Header&Footer Builder plugin

My issue:
With Elementor Header&Footer Builder plugin I have built an Header. For the header I have inserted a menu which I have created under “Design -> menu”. In the repsonsive mobile mode, the menu becomes a drop down menu.
But my issue is that when I click on the menu the first time the drop down menu is offset a little bit to the right. And when I cklick on the menu button a second time, the menu button all sudden aligns correctly and is not offset anymore.
I have to idea what is causing that issue.

Can you maybe help me out?

It works as expected and it is carefully developed to work seamlessly with Elementor.

One feature i suggest is to add a logo on the flyout menu above menu items. You can achieve it with css, e.g. with before pseudo-element but it would be nice if the plugin natively supported a flyout logo menu.

Elementor Header Keeps Loading Accent Color To Menu Name For Active Page

I’m using the latest version of Wp and Elementor. For my nav menu, I’m using the Elementor Header & Footer Builder. There are 3 states to set a background color for the menu titles: Normal, Hover and Active. I’ve turned off the bg color for Normal and Active. I have a green color set for hovering (#80C342). However, when I land on the home or other pages, I keep seeing this green bg color for the menu title for the active page, even though it’s turned off. The only way to get rid of it is if I turn off bg color for all 3 states. This color is setup as one of my accent colors in Site Settings > Global Colors. It previews correctly when I’m applying the edits in the Elementor Edit window itself, but not so when I’m previewing the page in Safari, Edge or Firefox (iMac and MS Surface Book).

Elementor header on top of lightbox

Hi,

When I open my photos in a lightbox, some of the photos are not visible due to my header being on top of it. Is there a way to offset the lightbox from the top of the site so the toprow of images also becomes visible?
Or if the photos could show on top of the header, that would also work.
