I have set up a website and want to change the correspondance email address.
I have changed this in the users section (and tried with x2 different working emails), but it still says “pending” (waiting for the confirmation email). Have tried unsuccessfully over the last few days.

The email addresses work fine.

Am aware there is a plugin, but if it should work without one, I’d like it to work without one, as otherwise it suggests there is a bug. Also want to avoid unnecessary plugins.

Please can you help a novice?

I checked the general settings – admin email address is correct.
I checked the discussion settings – and I am still set to receive email on comment, comment approval and likes.

For what it’s worth, I am the admin for my client’s website so the email address under the Settings tab is my email address, not my client’s email address. Not sure if this matters or not.

Conversely can an email be set up that only goes to admin?

I do not see a field for “email to” in the plugin.

Functionally I want to be notified so I can sometimes craft a personal note to the customer based on cart contents.

I have a dropdown so a user can select which division the form should be sent to. Example: Label:Billing Value: [email protected]. When I send the form to admin, I would like to include “Billing” in the email. Is this possible?

As a possible second option to this issue, can I use name/email combo like you can use in Outlook or any email program? Billing Department <[email protected]>.

I am trying to print the Order comments in the Email sent to the Admin.

I found the variable => order_comments
And the template of Admin for new Order: admin_notify_mail.tpl.php line 57.

In that line I added:

<?php echo strings::htmlentities($this->order_comments); ?>

But it doesnt print the Order comments.

Can you help me?

I like this plugin but on some sites I can’t set the ‘Email administrator after [ ] logins’ to anything else than 1.

On some sites I can and other settings can be changed, but this one sometimes can’t.

I have this problem on several sites. Any ideas?

There are three admins, one author. But the only email that is sent is to the author. None of the admins rec’d any email.

Any idea what is up with that??
