Spam emails from WordPress Constant Contact Forms plugin

I am receiving spam from a particular email address and I would like to block it. Here’s some information about my setup: I have a lead form on my website that sends me information via WordPress using the Constant Contact plugin. However, I am unable to find the spamming email address in my Constant Contact account page. The spam email comes from WordPress and has the subject line “Your Constant Contact Forms plugin has captured new information.”

Routing email through a real email account helps WP emails score better in authentication if your email is setup properly, emails skip the spam filter at the recipient’s end.

Phishing Error

I am using WP mail SMTP. I recently changed the from email address. (Both were gmail.) Now when it sends a message recipients receive an error that says:

“Be careful with this message
This site has never sent you messages using this email address. Avoid replying to this email unless you reach out to the sender by other means to ensure that this email address is legitimate.”

I don’t think there was a phishing error message before I changed the email address. So the error is being shown to existing customers, not new ones. How can I fix this?

disposable email

I would like to know if there is a way to accept only registrations on his site, predefined email for example: yahoo gmail ortook only.
I ask this because I meet some users of my site who use disposable emails.
Or any other means to prevent the use of disposable email on his site.

I originally liked the plugin, but now It’s spamming my email a couple times a day, saying “Autoptimize’s cache size is getting big, consider purging the cache”. There is no way to contact the developers so if they do not fix this or add an option to opt out of this, I will be deleting the plugin.

Spam Emails – Honeypot Not Working

So the spam from the contact form picked up to the point that it may require moving to a different form plugin. I love the simplicity of creating forms with this plugin but the amount of spam is killing me with frustration.

I know that the Pro version has the Google reCaptcha option but is there a working honey pot option instead? I noticed within the code that there is mention of it but the large amount of spam indicates that it is either not set up or is failing miserably. Yes we have the security question (2 digit option) included but it seems the bots are getting around all of these.

I don’t really like the Google reCaptcha option because it will frustrate good valid users so I’m hoping you have a really good honey pot solution so users don’t get frustrated. Maybe the honey pot option could be added to the “Form Items” so users can choose where to add it within the overall form which may help in combating bots.

Let me know either way so I can make an educated decision on how to move forward.

My email associated with my prophoto blog is sending out around 100 emails a day to my personal email account from the Mail Delivery System that say the domain has exceeded the max emails per hour. I cannot figure out how to stop or fix this. Can someone please help me? Thank you!
