This post was closed out before I got to ask a follow-up question about the issue of WordPress vulnerabilities caused by MySQL and PHP being outdated, and the refusal of hosting services (particularly those owned by Newfold Digital) to update them.

I manage 8 WordPress sites for one customer through Bluehost and want to ensure the sites don’t get hacked as described by @syzygist. I don’t know enough about the back end of WordPress to have a solution or recommendation for my customer. Are there any suggestions about a host provider that is and remains current with servers/databases?

The page with WooCommerce Products in a A-Z listing is not working anymore. When I select a specific term it does work, but all products without a term it doesn’t. Is the plugin end of life?
Does anybody know a good alternative?

With the move to everything being blocks all the functionality of the canalplan plugin stops working and needs completely rebuilding as even the widget doesn’t work now.

With so little use of the plugin I’m not motivated to rebuild it all in Javascript etc, and it is just not viable to pay someone to redevelop it.

So basically this is the end.

Hi there,
I am using “WooCommerce EU VAT Assistant” and I am very satisfied with it but you decide to set it to End of life.
So, you mention that you will still fix bugs but not updates or new features, you mean until June 22 probably, and what will happened next, will still work as is ?
Please in order for many of us that we are using it could you please make clear and inform us:
a) If I remove the plugin I can understand that no vat check will take place, but the Vat field will still remain in the database ? What possibly can go wrong ?
b) If we still using it after June 22, it will still work as is, with no updates?
c) Is there a migration path ?
