So – I figured the sandbox API might not have caught up with Pay Later (whole reason I’m going through hell with this) in Australia yet, so….
– I’m trying to connect using the wizard button “Connect to Paypal” in the plugin settings page.
– I am now trying to connect to our live business account.
The Paypal/Woo popup comes up, I type email of account and choose Country (Australia).
I login to our Paypal business account on next pane.
I then see “Allow PayPal to connect your account with WooCommerce Developers” with an “Agree and Connect” button.
Here’s where it gets very concerning:
Next panel says “You’ll need to revise your current business account to accept payments”
I have the option to use existing account or create a new one.
I obviously want to use our existing account, so I select that and continue
Next pane disturbingly says: “Complete your Business Details” and tells me to enter a trading name and the button says: “Agree and Convert Account”.
Ok so
a) convert to what? I currently have this account accepting payments from a live site and will not CONVERT anything to anything without it being clear. and
b) this is a business account with full trading name, configured and using API synced to woocommerce and accepting payments FOR 10 YEARS!!!
when i search google for: woocommerce paypal payments “agree and convert account” there are literally no results in the entire world including Paypal help or woocommerce help.
My support submission about this plugins failings via the woocommerce via the “Inpsyde” support has been met with ZERO response other than the autoresponder.
It appears Woocommerce may not be an option for those looking at integration with Pay in 4 in Australia?
]]>Why not consider listening to the overwhelmingly negative reviews of your user base and pulling this asap?
I have built my business around WP for over ten years, and now I can only see the WP team heading in a foolish direction that cannot easily be fixed.
You will create a product where too many devs have invested in Gutenberg to retreat, and a huge majority who hate it.
How can you think that enforcing a second rate page builder on us makes sense?
]]>So big is the ego of Gutenberg devs that it prevents them from seeing the statistics and opinions of the (by far) majority of users in the WordPress community? ..that it explicitly rejects the sovereign fiasco that is Gutenberg?
I think they are old enough to accept a epic fail and solve it, at least leaving Gutenberg as an optional. …Although personally I can only recommend you to bury it for eternity, and spend your time and efforts in maintaining the high standard that WordPress has always enjoyed.
Greetings!

]]>1) images want to only load alt-text and throw a 403 on load attempt when viewing source of page(this should not happen, and I have checked htaccess but this issue will not fix)
2) wp is kicking me out after I switch tabs and not allowing me back in, as if someone is changing my password. default user and databse entry table is NOT used.
3) theme breakage, as if there is none installed, yet the css remains active. In other words the formatting disappears.
At first I though a very clever hacker but I can repeat the process and the the theme has been stable for weeks. Why would it break now? I need a dark theme for my snow effect.
Prefer w meta info on the right. That said, the image load tripping 403 is more indicative of a major issue.
The login issue for the multi-site setup seems to be resettable and stored somewhere in the content folder but Im not sure exactly where. My local copy resets the existing password if I re-up the site.
I have IP, spam blocking at both htaccess and wp levels active.Either someone is very very crafty or wordpress is very very broken. either way, needs to get fixed and I AM NOT VERY HAPPY! Its bad enough that it takes a while to get all your content and plugins and such in place as you like, but then it breaks so easily like this. This is not right.
I have both file and SQL backup, but a xml or whatever dump of the post content would be nice to have. I cant stay in long enough to do it.I keep getting kicked out.
I have just installed my blog here: www.blog.strikecover.com – it was working perfectly during development in MAMP (using older version of WP) since installing it on and using the new 3.0.4 WP it’s completely broken any from of iframe embedding.
I have tried using work arounds mentioned online such as
? TSL iframe unfilter
? Page View
? IFRAME Embed For YouTube and now Fancybox
Nothing has worked so far – you can look at the blog to see to efforts, trying to show a youtube video.
Does anyone have an answer? Shall I just install an older version of WP – is this possible, recommended?
Any answers would be super. I have no more ideas!
Many thanks
