Issue with Episode Widget Tabs Not Activating

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with the episode tabs in the Mas Video plugin. When I place the Mas Episodes widget inside the episode section, the tabs do not activate or function properly.

However, when I use the Mas TV-Show Episodes widget, the tabs work correctly, but this widget only functions within the TV-Show section and does not work inside the episode section.

Is there a way to enable the tabs when using the Mas Episodes widget inside the episode section, or make the Mas TV-Show Episodes widget work within episodes?

Hi all! We’re hosting a podcast and stopped after episode 250. Now, after some time has passed we’re re-starting again but want to start with a new season and reset the episode counter to 1, while posting to the same Apple Podcasts and Spotify podcasts. Is this possible in any way without setting up a whole new SSP podcast?

Using featured image as episode image

Is there a way I can tell powerpress to use the featured image into wordpress post as episode’s image?

If there is a featured image, it would show it, otherwise the default podcast artwork.

Not Retrieving Correct Episode

This plugin works great, but we’re having an issue retrieving episodes with single digits from our Buzzsprout feed.

We are using the Podcast Player shortcode embedded into a Post, and are also using the [filterby=’EP6′] parameter to retrieve episode 6. However, it doesn’t recognise this and instead just pulls in the latest episode.

We have tried ‘EP6’ and ‘EP06’, but it makes no difference.

Hiya! Having some trouble formatting episode descriptions. Looks nice on my wordpress page editor, and can add in line breaks with html etc, but this all seems to get flattened on my actual RSS feed: https://matttyler.uk/feed/podcast/ , and therefore in my descriptions on spotify, apple etc

No line breaks seem to appear there, everything in one big ugly paragraph. How can I format episode descriptions in my RSS feed? Thanks.

Episode not playing

Hello Seriously Simple Team,
First, thanks for the fantastic plug-in. We’ve had great success with it on our network’s website, but I recently noticed an error with one of our show’s pages. For some reason, the episodes are not playing in the audio player. The “play” button just circles continuously and the episode does not begin playing. The issue occurs with all episodes related to this show, and the issue occurs whether you try to listen from this link: https://qodpod.com/show/grill-this/ or this one: link: https://qodpod.com/series/grill-this/

None of our other shows/episodes seem to have this issue. Twice, I have deleted all traces of this show from the website and started from scratch by re-importing the entire RSS feed, recreating the series, etc. and it’s still not working.

I don’t think it’s an issue with the RSS feed itself, because I tried importing this podcast using a different plug-in tool on a test page, and the latest episode played.

I am really stumped and would appreciate assistance! Thank you.

Hi there, I am trying to get the episode number via powerpress_get_enclosure_data but I don’t think it is there.

Are there any plans to bring the episode number in via the plugin in the near future? I see that it is in the XML feed, but not actually in the enclosure data.

No Episode Descriptions in Itunes

Hello,
First, I love this plug-in, it has made publishing my podcast very easy, so thank you for making it.
I created the podcast series, feed, and 34 episodes. I now up to validating my feed with Itunes to submit it, but can’t get any episode descriptions to show up.
I have content, and excerpts filled in, but that doesn’t seem to fill in the description. I haven’t done all my episodes but have test data on episodes 32 & 34 with no luck.

My feed is https://jamaicansounds.com/feed/podcast/jamaicansounds/

Am I missing something on the Episode Descriptions?
