Hi WP Ever Admin
First of all, thank you very much for your open source addon sharing.
It’s amazing.
But I would like to report a very annoying bug that messed up the currency calculation when I removed the 2 00s after the “,” of the currency.
Exp: Precision = 2 | and now set: Precision = 0
Problem: When creating a new expense voucher or income money voucher, I set the currency amount to : 100,000
Then save
Then the invoice will show the currency as 1,000,000,000 VND
=> It’s more than 4 zeros @@
Please check again and fix this error. Thank you so much

I launched an Amazon EC2 instance running Ubuntu 22.04. I installed apache2 and PHP 8.1 and MariaDB 10.6.11 and also installed php-mysql. I have noticed there is no mysql section on the output from phpinfo().

In MariaDB I created a database called wp and a user called wpuser with all privileges. If I run SHOW GRANTS as wpuser one of the output lines is (bacticks converted to single quotes):

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON 'wp'.* TO 'wpuser'@'localhost'

I have put the contents of WordPress directory (version 6.1.1) into /var/www/html. I created config.php and edited it to contain the DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD and DB_HOST. When I visit that page from a browser I get a web page with the message:

It would be great to have some pointers as to what to do to troubleshoot this. I have been confused by the suggestions I have seen on google especially about whether php-mysql is necessary or not.

We are testing TranslatePress for a client’s site and we have run into an issue on one page. In english the page and the directory on it shows fine, but when it switches to Spanish, the directory disappears and we get a javascript error message:

We are using the MyListing Theme for the directory and WooCommerce. The error only happens when we turn on automatic translation. Manual translation works fine and the directory displays as normal on a manually translated page.

i am trying to update plugins for a clients wordpress site as you normally do but then i found most of them cant be updated due to some errors along the lines of:

I want to have a wordpress as a sendbox on my desktop (local machine).
I’ve installed WAMP on my desktop. I’ve created a DB at the Mysql with the name that I want. and at the user I’ve entered root I left the password blanked (with out any character). to create the wp-config.php file there is a screen:
Database Name: same as in Mysql
server: localhost
user: root
password:
Database Host: localhost
Table Prefix: wp_

i press submit and get the error:
Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
