this is my first attempt and “cry” for help in this forum. My problems, as the title clearly states, are:
1. I don’t have access to my website anymore, it just says “Error establishing a database connection”;
2. I tried to repair and optimize the database, and the result is this message: ” Failed to repair the xto_options table. Error: File ‘./alinever_wor3/xto_options.MYD’ not found (Errcode: 2)”
After the 4.1 WP update as well as to all the other plugins I have, I posted on my blog last Friday (dec. 19 2014) and everything worked just fine until the next day (dec. 20 2014), when I tried to connect and saw the message in point 1 on my homepage. I contacted my hosting provider (they say it’s a coding error and they don’t manage that) as well as the theme creator (who still hasn’t replied).
Thank you for your assistance and attempt to help me.
My website is sebastianurlica.be
Now I want to set up a blog posting page. I have a static home page named “Home” and a blank page named “Blog”. In wp-admin, Settings…Reading, I set the front page to “home” and Posts page to “Blog”.
This should make my blog posts show up in my “Blog” page, right?
I did my first blog post but when I view the post, I only see sort of a blank page. It displays a page with my logo and menu, everything else blank. I put in a menu selection to navigate to my “Blog” page. When I select this menu, I see the default template for the Responsive theme.
Looking at error_log, I see errors similar to below every time anyone acceses any page on my website:
[Fri Mar 22 17:45:40.098973 2013] [:error] [pid 21401] [client 71.63.225.215:49293] WordPress database error Can’t create/write to file ‘/tmp/#sql_435_0.MYI’ (Errcode: 2) for query SELECT t.*, tt.* FROM wp_terms AS t INNER JOIN wp_term_taxonomy AS tt ON tt.term_id = t.term_id INNER JOIN wp_term_relationships AS tr ON tr.term_taxonomy_id = tt.term_taxonomy_id WHERE tt.taxonomy IN (‘post_tag’) AND tr.object_id IN (53) ORDER BY t.name ASC made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-includes/template-loader.php’), include(‘/themes/responsive/full-width-page.php’), get_header, locate_template, load_template, require_once(‘/themes/responsive/header.php’), wp_head, do_action(‘wp_head’), call_user_func_array, All_in_One_SEO_Pack->wp_head, All_in_One_SEO_Pack->get_all_keywords, get_the_tags, get_the_terms, wp_get_object_terms, referer: https://www.infrasupport.com/
Something tells me these database errors are related to my blog problem but I am not sure how to troubleshoot it. I am hosting this myself and the /tmp directory is wide open. I can create files in /tmp all day long. How do I attack this problem? What does that error mean and how do I correct it?
thanks

]]>My family’s photoblog is down-ish right now, and it’s showing the following error:
WordPress database error: [File ‘./exitcrea_wp_2/wp_comments.MYD’ not found (Errcode: 2)]
I’ve gone into the database admin area and tried to repair the table, but it keeps saying that the table is “In use”, or returns the error code above.
The blog is at: https://exitcreative.net/todayin/
What should I do? Can someone help?
]]>However, this morning, I started getting error messages on all of my blogs:
WordPress database error: [Can’t create/write to file ‘/var/tmp/#sql_5d6a_0.MYI’ (Errcode: 2)]
The same message appears when I try to Manage Posts under the admin module as well. Is there something that I should change under yahoo webhosting?
Please advise.
The 3 pages affected are:
https://www.elcreations.org/engloy/photoblog
https://www.elcreations.org/lipsengtan/photoblog
https://elcreations.org/drmrcog
Each of the above has its own installation of WordPress and are running on separate SQL databases.
Would appreciate your advice here. Thanks!
