slider image link does not redirect

Esteem theme. I have added a link address to the slider image in >appearance>theme>customize>slider and it does not redirect. See example screenshot here: https://paste.pics/985706be4863f4f883765e0fe585a9bb Any reason why this does not work and what I should do to solve. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Great theme by the way. Just have a problem with my homepage. I have 4 slider images, and upon loading the page the first one seems fine, then when the 2nd, 3rd and 4th images load, the pages’ content gets pushed way down the page. The succeeding times round, it doesn’t do this, only on the 1st time round the images. I’d rather not have to just use one image, but I’m going in that direction…

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I would like my entire slide image to be linked. Is there an easy way to modify the code to do this?

Hi ,

I placed the “services” page as the front page so i have 4 boxes on the page with the services i offer.

On this same services page I also did write a welcome message (in the text Section) for when people arrive on my page but it is not showing up on the front page.
What do i need to do please for this text to show up on the front page?

Background Color Won't Change

I’m using the Esteem theme from Theme Grill for my WordPress site, linked here: https://www.scottimmigration.com/

Right now the entire website just has a plain white background, so I want to add some color. The Esteem theme does come with the option to upload a background image, but when I do that nothing appears on the site. I decided to try adding some code to the custom CSS box both for a background image and a background color (following instructions from a tutorial I watched), but when I save the changes the background of the site just remains white.

I want to change the background of the entire site to a light gray. Anyone have any suggestions on what may be going wrong here?
