On the public event submission form, when I begin typing a location the list of previously entered locations comes up in Firefox, but not in Chrome.
No errors I can see, just behaves as if that physical location has never been entered before. SO we are getting a lot of duplicate locations.
I would like to redirect to a custom page, or be able to customize the page currently directed to, upon successful event submission.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(Linked page is what is currently redirected to.)
Thanks!
]]>If you click in the field, no popup calendar appears. You also cannot manually type a date.
The hour field behavior isn’t great with a drop-up instead of down and not having a solid background behind it and just overlaying page content making it hard to read. This is manageable as users can type in the field.
The behavior is the same both logged in and logged out and on both Chrome and Safari on laptop and Safari on iphone.
]]>When I use this option the event submission page will not allow users to choose a From and To date. The date will always be wrong regardless of format and the date picker will not display.
I confirmed that my page ID’s were exact and even tried re entering them and saving but the behavior persisted. So I have had to choose no for the option and allow scripts to load on all pages.
]]>I need some support to figure out why from time to time anonymous users get “Trying to perform an illegal action” when they try to submit an event.
Is there any debug info I can activate? I was not able to figure out, issues with the input because sometime it works fine with the same input and sometimes not (seem so).

I would also like to send the submitter and email upon submission. This lets me give them details on the timeline for approval – and to pitch them advertising for the event they submitted.
I’d love to see it as a built in option – or if anyone has ideas how to configure it outside of the Events Manager settings.
]]>I am encountering an issue where the maps are showing without problem when events are created in wp-admin panel. However, when users try to create events using the front-end submission form, the maps will not show and will just display “Location not found”. When I enter previously created location, the Google map will pop out however then error message reads “This page can’t load Google maps properly”. This just happened suddenly I never encountered this previously.
Any ideas what could be going on?
]]>Very frustrating because I am getting a lot of submissions and without a way to either make this work or import entries, I am going to have to look for a different plugin. Anyone have any ideas?
]]>1.) Is it possible to add additional fields to the form?
2.) Is it possible to add a line of text to the page when not logged in that says “You must be logged in to submit an event.”?
3.) Is it possible to incorporate an approval process where if a user submits an event, it must be approved by the admin?
Is it possible to split the public form for users to add events in seperate steps, a bit like when hotels gather feedback from customers (Step 2/7)?
My client does not wan’t submitters to have to scroll, so I need to find a way to split event submissions into several steps.
(this only concerns the front-end form, not the WPAdmin, which is fine as it is).
Thanks.
