Event Times Defaulting to All Day Even with Specified Times

Hi There!

Updated to the latest version of MEC and all of my events have defaulted to an event time of ALL DAY even though a time has been specified in the event.

I tried refreshing my permalinks and purging cache, but still no change.

Hello,

So far the plugin is really great however, the times aren’t being output for the events. I see the correct time in the tag data attributes but it isn’t printing the actual text.

I went into troubleshooting mode with just this plugin and the generic WP theme and it still doesn’t display.

Events Time Not Working

Hi.

I was wondering if anybody can help. For some reason the time for our events has stopped working, and keeps setting everything to 00:00:00.

When I check the back-end of the event, (we don’t use a plugin) I used to be able to edit the event, and adjust the time. However, when I try to add the time in, it just isn’t showing anymore and only showing the date.

I’ve checked the field group and it does have the time in the display and return format. So not sure why the time isn’t displaying.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue.

incorrect timezone adjustment

Today one of my site users created an event and the displayed date/time was wrong. After some testing I confirmed that this was restricted to the Events Calender, other timestamp functions worked correctly. We saw that there was a WordPress system update last night and reverted to 5.4.2 the previous one. That fixed the issue, but my suspicion is that it is still an issue for updated sites.

The issue is that the timezone correction is not happening. If I create an event for New York, the event (and also the timestamp on the date/time created) are both Universal time.

Event times “spill over”, RTL and image

Thank you for a brilliant and beautifully made plugin.
A couple of small problems I noticed about timing and Fluent style:
1. When an event is set for a given time, say – one hour, 14:00-15:00, it shows as a two-hour event: both in 14:00 and 15:00.
Also
2. When an event time is more than a single hour, or begins not on the hour, say 14:00-18:00 or 14:30-15:30 it looks like several hour events, that is it doesn’t look like a continuous event but a series of events.
3. Also, not all views change for RTL, for example, slider view, which I would like to use as a footer widget, or the “Next” “Previous” buttons…
4. The image chosen for the event doesn’t show on event page.
5. there is in the settings for the shortchode a choice to display event “In separate window” – but it actually opens in the same window.
Can this be fixed?

Events can only be listed on the hour

Our events sometimes start and end on the half hour. But the event dates section only allows me to list the event time on the hour. Is there any way to change this?

Plugin Conflict Hides Event Titles & Changes Date/Time

When this plugin is activated alongside Events Calendar Pro, it removes the event title from an event page, and changes the event date to the current date and time, displaying “This event has passed”.

This only occurs when designing the layout of the Events pages using Divi Builder.

Disabling Event Tickets is the only way to rectify the problem.

I won’t share the URL as I’ve disabled this plugin. But would be great if there’s a solution to this problem that might already be known?

Setting Event Time

I am trying to go live with EME after a month away from it and have come across a problem – probably a user error (me!) but I’m stumped.

I just updated to the latest version (Version 2.1.75).

I am trying to create a new event. I enter the title and date. When I go to set the time, a lightly bordered box opens. I can’t type into the form time boxes. I can’t select and change the time shown (the current time) in the box. The times in the form are empty, so difficult to see if the clear button does anything. The close button closes the box. I just noticed that there are 2 checkboxes, but they don’t seem to do anything and don’t stay checked if I click on them.

I have attached a screen capture.

Any suggestions?

How to display time in Visual Composer

Hi there,

I’m using wpbakery.com/ page builder to display tribe events on the page I’ve linked to in the post.

Wondering if there is a way to pull in the time field. If I could just use a shortcode to put in the text editor of the grid builder that would do it, just can’t find a way of doing this after searching everywhere!

Also a php snippet could work… Any suggestions?

Displaying event times separately from event dates

Hi, most of my events are single day events. Some may run on additional days but they are singular rather than starting on one day and ending on another.

I would like to be able to display an event start and end time and start and end date separately from each other and also not show an end date at all if it’s a single day event. ie dd/mm/yyyy [to dd/mm/yyyy] hh:mm [to hh:mm] where bracketed text shows if an end date and end time are given.

Is this possible?

I haven’t provided a link as i’m currently working in a staging environment which is password protected. I can send details privately if required.
