Hi, I’m looking for a way to only move my post. The wordpress import gives me error which I fix them it something else. I’d like to try some other way in import post. I was able to import pages. But I’m still trying to move the post and find a way to FTP in the media library. The current website is a mess and I’m trying to make a clear copy on a staging website.

I have tried to clone the old site to the new staging site but the cloned site couldn’t even been cleaned up. It kept redirecting me back to the current site. There was no redirect plug in nor could I find any redirect codes when looking at files.

Any advice

I need to export posts + featured media from one site to another, but I need to select them by day, not by month.
How to do this?
Is there a plugin that does this?

Custom posts fails to export – too many entries?

I am trying to export a custom post type which has around 500,000 entries.

The second I export the post type (by going to Tools->Export), I receive the following error:

This webpage is not available
ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE

When I export another custom post type that has just a few entries, it exports successfully.

Firefox can’t find the file at

https://website.com/wp-admin/export.php?download=true&cat=0&post_author=0&post_start_date=0&post_end_date=0&post_status=0&page_author=0&page_start_date=0&page_end_date=0&page_status=0&content=card&submit=Download+Export+File.

This is resulting from a 500 error from WordPress:

I’ve tried increasing the upload_max_filesize but unfortunately this has no effect. I’m also not able to find any useful information in the normal logs. I temporarily enabled debug logging within WordPress and the following errors were logged when I tried to export:

Exporting only posts in certain categories in phpMyAdmin

Ok, so I want to use phpMyAdmin to:

Export all my pages and there hierarchy…

Export all posts in ONLY one category and its subcategories and keep that category hierarchy!

Any one that can give me a pointer!
