Widgets no longer functional after site migration

Hi – I’ve just migrated our site to a new domain. After the import the custom sidebars have ceased to work entirely. They don’t display, and when I go to edit them, I get the spinning icon forever and it never completes. When I try to do a manual export/import of the sidebars from the original site location, the import fails with the same spinning icon that goes on forever. It seems as if something has gotten corrupted. How do I fix this? Is there a way to clean out the sidebar data and reinstall the plugin, then import? Or do I need to redo the manual export/import from scratch and do a certain search/replace to make sure the sidebars arrive in a functional state?

Today I bought Google Maps Plugin and already managed to build a beautiful map on my website. I can see that Google Maps allows exporting data to CSV files and I wonder is there any option that I can import data to the plugin? Thank you in advance for your answer.

How to export and import customized Styles

I’m trying out Styles for the first time, and I’m very impressed. It appears to work faultlessly with the latest (4.4.2) version of WP.

I’ve been working with it on my sandbox site, adapting the TwentyThirteen theme. It’s time to transfer the styles to my live site. Of course I can do that by manually transferring all the changes I’ve made in the sandbox version and putting them into the live version, but…

Is it possible to export the sandbox version and import it to the live version?

I found a thread (2 years old) where the author talked about hoping to include an export/import facility. Has that facility been added and can someone point me to it?

Importing Images with products using CSV Import

Hi Everyone, Hope you’re all well!

The company I work for are an e-commerce furniture company and we are changing from EKM Powershop to WordPress…
I am trying to export all the products from the ekm site and import them to the new site but I can’t work out how to import the images with the products, and it’s taking ages loading all the photos on one by one! haha I’m just wondering if it’s do-able to import the images too?

I’m not very good at websites, I am a photographer but have been asked to import all the products to the new site.

All I know is that I have been using CSV Import to import the products, and we have installed woocommerce.

If anyone could help me, please do!!

Hi there I am trying to import info exported from wordpress 3.5 into worpdress 3.42 is it possible to do this? When I tried to import only one file copied with only one post and when I try to delete that post I can a server error.

I love this plugin, and am very close to rolling out an update to a site using it, but am having trouble with the import XML feature in 3.5.1.
I have created the field group in a local dev environment, and then exported the XML (to a different local dev environment actually), but get an error on the merge_array function in several places after the import. This shows up when I try to edit the field group, on the page that uses the template which utilizes the field group, and perhaps other places as well.
I saw a post in the forums on your plugin site regarding this, but don’t have credentials on your site. Hopefully you don’t mind me posting here as this really isn’t exactly a duplicate post.
merge_array error:

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in D:\xampp\htdocs\dev\wp-content\plugins\advanced-custom-fields\acf.php on line 658

I looked in the XML export and also found an error there:

Notice: Undefined index: value in D:\xampp\htdocs\trunk\wp-content\plugins\advanced-custom-fields\core\views\meta_box_fields.php on line 245

I don’t currently have this anywhere live (until I figure this out), but would be glad to send/post the XML export file if you tell me where you’d like it.

How to import old posts from another system into my wordpress blog?

I have an old log through B2Evolution (https://greatestultimate.com/) that I want to finally port over to my new WordPress blog (https://greatestultimate.com/wordpress/). Ideally, I would take the hours to pour over my entries and decide what I want to keep and what not to keep. Categories have changed.. my focus and attention has shifted. blah blah blah.

The question here is how to export from b2E and into WordPress? Anyone have a step by step? And ideally, I should run a back up on the current wordpress database.. how to?
