I like Litespeed Cache alot. I am using this cache plugin for many of my pages I control. But I have a question regarding leverage browser caching, for external JS files?
There is another thread but it’s closed now: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/cache-google-analytics-and-gtm-locally/
And I am wondering if there is any news here?
Will LSCache be supporting to host Google Analytics, and maybe Facebook JS files locally? Like WP-Rocket does (with Google Analytics)
I can see there is plugins that can handle this with Google Analytics locally in WP, but I will rather use 1 plugin if that is an option.

I’m the developer of another plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/nelio-content/) and one of our users contacted us because the dialogs in our plugin look “weird.” Apparently, that’s because this plugin is adding its own jQuery UI CSS and JavaScript files (even though WordPress already has some built-in styles and scripts for that). Can you please address this? At the very least, you should NOT include the scripts in all admin pages — only in those that are yours.
Thank you very much.
Regards,
David

I just pasted it to the footer of the site, but I wanted to add it to the footer the right way. I thought about adding this to the functions.php file:
function regal_chat_script() {
wp_enqueue_script( 'chat-scrip', "//www.apex.live/scripts/invitation.ashx?company=regalrestorationservices", array(), '1.0', true);
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'real_chat_script' );
}
But doing this would leave out the async attribute. How can I add the aync attribute?

The weird thing is sometimes GTMetrix doesn’t show the exact same files if I check it again.
For example, I check it 1 minute later and this is what it shows.

I had a hard time a couple weeks ago with trying to use starkers wp theme framework because it uses htaccess to rewrite urls for javascripts and css so the html5 can get access to reset.css, jquery, and modernizr.js.
I finally figured out it was using htaccess and I needed to fix permissions so it could write to it.
During my search I saw several references to using wp_localize in the functions.php being the correct way to add external libs to the head but found out today that I can use bloginfo(‘template_directory’) to get to the css and js directories in my theme’s folder.
So my question is, why not use the ‘template_directory’ method? Is there something insecure about it? I ask because it seems like the simplest way and I can easily add jquery at the end of the body for faster page loading so I’m wondering if there is a reason this method wasn’t the one I found googling. Are there cons to doing it this way?
Thanks
