I’ve deactivated and deleted the plugin. I will not let a plugin developer cripple WordPress and hold my content hostage.
]]>All of those features I used to use have been completely destroyed or hidden behind a pay-wall. I would have had no problem contributing to or purchasing a license for this product, but now that we need an exactmetrics account, I’m out. Going from being a free plugin to almost $800 for 25 sites or almost $1500 for more sites is extortion. The “free” features are absolutely useless.
The fact that they’re marketing “graphs and reports” that you can view in your Analytics account natively as it’s best feature is ridiculous. This plugin is no more than an expensive extra layer between your own data on Analytics and your website. Save yourself the trouble and stay away.
]]>Not to mention it doesn’t even do what it says. It doesn’t do a find/replace on the database, only the exports which you have to pretty much be extorted in order to use.
blah
]]>Also, their exporting works fine with any other options like URL, FTP, Google Drive, etc… but to import from each one of those sources, you have to buy a separate package at the cost of US$ 99
So, be careful when using this.

]]>About a year ago, an employee who had created our public work website was let go. Something that was overlooked was that he still had access to the wordpress domain. He has now shut down the website, and locked everyone out. He’s literally holding the website hostage and demanding money.
Is there anything that can be done? I would rather just get the domain back and fix this stupid lapse in judgment and restore an old site, but I don’t know if that’s possible. Police aren’t going to get too worked up and we are a small business. Any help would be much appreciated. And yes, this was an upgraded account, I just have no way to log in for support.
