Looking for a date-specific ezine theme

Hello there,

We are looking for a publication theme where we have a monthly publication which has about 5-8 sections. We are looking for the following features.

1) We only want to display articles from the current month in each navigation section
2) Visitors can comment and like stories
3) Visitors can view past publication material in the archives
4) Visitors can print an entire publication

We currently use HotNews by freshthemes but it does not have the above capability.

If anyone knows of a theme we can purchase/modify, please let me know.

I installed this plugin, it is listed as being installed and activated but it just don’t show up for use anywhere.Anybody have a solution?

Is it a good idea to occasionally publish an Ezine article or does Google consider it to be duplication or spam?

Also is it a good idea for me to post articles on Ezine to get backlinks to my site?

Ezine Plug-in not activating

Hi, this is what I get when I try to activate Ezine plud-in.

Could not contact the EzineArticles.com submission interface. Possible causes include:
* A firewall may be blocking the server from making outbound requests to https://api.ezinearticles.com/.
* PHP may not be allowed to open connections on your server.
* https://api.ezinearticles.com/ may be experiencing downtime.

I have check my firewall and even disabled it. But same problem
I have check Ezine ok and no problem their.
So I can only assume PHP issue.

Can some tell me what it is and how do I fix it.

Hi! I’m currently running an acne website. My site url is: https://adultacnetreatmentreviews.com. I’ve just posted an article at ezinesarticle. My article is now going live. So, I’ve generated an ezine wordpress widget from ezine at copied and pasted the code in the text widget of my website.

However, only the title which I assigned to the text box appears. But the ezine widget theme is not appearing at all. This is a good widget, and displaying it on the sidebar will give good credibility to my site.

Can someone help me on this problem. I don’t really know what’s going wrong. The theme which I’m using is a widget-ready free theme called Interpridity.

EzineArticles WordPress Plugin

I have just tried to submit an article to Ezine using the ‘EzineArticles WordPress Plugin’ and have had the following message display:

“We are sorry; this method is no longer supported by the EzineArticles API.”.

I have used this plugin without problem many times before, and it is the most up-to-date version.

Ezine seems to still be recommending it on their site.

Is there an issue temporary or permanent that I should know about? Is there anything I can do to rectify the problem?

I have just launched “ThoughtCafe” (https://www.thoughtcafe.net) – an online magazine with multiple authors, based on WordPress.

Things are going very well so far, and the publishing workflow in WordPress is working well too.

Adding articles to sidebar in Ezine theme

I am currently using the WordPress Ezine theme for a test site that I am playing around with (www.dvdenthusiast.net/wordpress).

I am not sure if what I am trying to do is possible, but I would like to be able to have one “feature” article at the top, three “other” articles below that (both of which I already have), and then three “other” articles in the sidebar area (so there would be no sidebar, but articles instead – though I would want the sidebar on single post pages).

I’m not sure how many people are familiar with this theme, but it post articles to different sections of the frontpage based on categories.

Any help would be great. I’d even be happy if someone could suggest a theme where something like this might be easier. I’ve been getting sort of frustrated with all of this.

I created newspaper like themes. Idea come from one of Joomla default theme.
