How to tag a facebook page inside message

Hi,

Have been trying to find a way to link a facebook page inside a message, I tryed things like @someFBpage and @[FBPageId], nothing seem to work. I can’t find any reference about how to do it anywere or if it’s even possible with this plugin.

I have installed this and created a facebook app but I am not sure I understand it all. The fb app has the same namespace as the name of a fb group there seems to be no other configuration to identify the destination of the app. I have put the ap id in the plug in settings and using the shortcode it give me a checkbox to post on FB it asks me to confirm but nothing is posted to fb.

Sync comments does nothing but show a timer (for ever)

To my Facebook page. It will not post the video image. I have tried everything I have read, including installing the Facebook Open Graph Plugin. I appear to have gotten rid of all issues except for

“The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.”

No matter what I do it will simply not go away. Help please and thank youQ

Compatible plugin to publicise to Facebook Wall/Page?

Hi lovely Jetpack people,

I currently use Jetpack to publicise my blog posts on my Facebook Artist Page; but most of my friends don’t currently follow me, and I would also like to publicise to my posts on my personal wall as well.

Jetpack can’t currently do this, and although Jeremy said it was in the works 3 years ago as described in this thread, I’m not holding my breath.

So in the interim while we wait for Jetpack to support Publicise to both a page and a wall, I thought I could install another plugin that supports publication to Facebook and get it to publish to my wall while Jetapack publishes to my artist page. But I’ve had things like this break in the past. For instance, I don’t want two sets of OpenGraph tags; so the plugins need to play nice together.

Has anyone else solved this problem by using a second plugin to publish to Facebook, and if so can you please tell me which one you used?

Scheduling a post

I am having trouble getting my scheduled post to be consistent. Sometimes it works fine and other times it does not post. Today I finally got it to post immediately after it had missed two scheduled times. But then it only went to the emails not to the facebook.

Hi, I bought this theme “listable”… I want people when posting a new listing for it to go to the Facebook Group also. The Jetpack share or publicize works nicely for a business page or person page but gives no options for a Facebook Group.

Does anyone know of a free or premium plugin I can acheive this with? Below is the link for my site. I believe the listings are treated like a blog post.

Can't post to FB – popup says Content no longer available

Would appreciate any help on this issue: When I attempt to post a site page to Facebook, it gives me this message: “This content is no longer available. The content you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page.”

I have tried changing the URL for the page, creating a new page, reactivating Publicize — no luck. Any guidance would be much appreciated. This has been one of my favorite features of the site.

The blog I need help with is aumhomeshala.org.

I was having a problem when posting my article links on Facebook where it was not grabbing the featured image I’d selected as a thumbnail, but random images on the site. I installed a plugin called Custom Image SRC which was supposed to force Facebook to pull the featured image first. It did that but then ignored the meta-data I’d written for the title and description. I deleted the plugin but when I try to post a link now, it’s still acting as though the plugin is installed and active. Any ideas on how to get it back to the way it was before? I still want the image problem resolved, but I also want the link to show with the title and description I wrote for it in the meta-data section. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!! Thanks! I would like my blog posts to automatically post to my face book page and I would like to add some sharing buttons that would show up under my posts. on the .com site under settings there is a sharing page on .org there isn’t. I am very new to this and it is all a little confusing. I don’t know if I should have picked a different theme that is better for a beginner so its mostly all there.
