'Database error' message when sharing my latest post on Facebook

When I try to share my latest post to Facebook, instead of the usual picture and 100 or so words showing it says ‘database error’, even though the link itself is good.

This is the latest post and the one I am having this issue with. Older posts are fine.

I went to the Facebook Debugger and scraped my site. It tells me in the Warnings That Need To Be Fixed area:

Share App ID Missing
The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.

I am at a complete loss, and don’t know how to do this. Please help!

Hello everybody concerned,

I am facing problems in sharing links from my website:
Nahdism.Com

Was able to share main site and pages except posts, but now not able to share anything.

Tried facebook debugger which says “Error parsing input URL, no data was cached, or no data was scraped”.

At first, I thought it must be server side issue so changed the host, but it didn’t help.

Then added some code in .htacess file to mod_security something but it doesn’t affected either.

Then thought must be some plugin conflict, so deleted all plugins except Jetpack (because it’s one of the favorites). Especially, Yoast and W3TC, which are know to have conflicting issues with Jetpack. But to no avail.

So when nothing helped, even deleted Jetpack. As soon as it was done, I wasn’t able to share any links, neither homepage, nor posts, nor any other pages.

Even tried disconnecting CloudFlare, but nothing changed.

Eventually re-enabled all plugins all over again, including, Jetpack, Yoast, W3TC, Cloudflare.

Please explain your answers precisely because I am not much technology or code understanding kinda person. I am even new to WordPress. So it’s a humble request to give in-depth and precise answers so as to where to make tweaks, with line numbers and where to find those files, etc.

Facebook share button error

My facebook share button stopped functioning when I wrote a post last week and is still not working today after I published a new post. It was working fine up until now.

The error message i am getting is “app not set up – app in development mode”

I did not have a developers app, but tried to set one up to see if it would fix the problem, but I really don’t know what I am doing as far as that is concerned. Not sure if I made the problem worse or not…

Facebook Share Not Working

Good morning, I just posted a blog this morning and the Facebook shares are not working. When I copy and paste my link to Facebook, it pulls no data (meta title, photo, description, etc). When I use the share buttons on the post, I receive the following message “Page not found – Error 404 – The Wandering Gourmand” This error only applies to the latest post. All older posts work properly.

Please help.

Problem:

When I use a social plugin (sharethis or others)

I get this when the facebook site comes up (NO TITLE/WRONG URL).

It does not always do the same thing! For example, it works to click on facebook share here.
