I have a big problem with thumbnail images on facebook. I tried many instructions and solutions, but it didn’t help.
I also contacted the hosting provider, but it didn’t help me.
I tried.
1) Change the post URL.
2) Change the picture.
3) Upload the image manually to the Rank Math SEO plugin.
4) I deleted both the website and the CDN.
5) I have installed many plugins that should fix it like:
– Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags
– WP Open Graph
– Open Graph
– Open Graph Protocol Framework
– Open Graph, Google Plus / Schema.org, Twitter Card Tags for WordPress
– Open Graphite
No plugin resolved my issue.
6) I regenerated thumbnail images. However, unsuccessfully.
7) I manually deleted caches in Facebook Developers (Sharing debugger).

Sometimes the preview will appear, but when you press the publish button, it disappears.
Sometimes the preview is published successfully, but then it won’t appear when shared.
And sometimes it works 30 minutes and then not.
I’m terribly desperate. Help me please. I don’t know what to do anymore.

I am getting smaller thumbnail images. I figured out something, but i dont know whether that is the reason or not.
I am using “EWWW Image Optimizer” plugin. This plugin convert images in various sizes like 360×220 and original image size.
nextscripts pulls small thumbnail (360×220) created by ewww plugin and add that as og image. So every time i am getting small featured image.

]]>I have also tried to use two plugins including Yoast WordPress SEO and the Official Facebook plugin, but this does nothing.
I have read on forums that you can change the code in the <head> section, but where do you actually find this code – I mean, which button do you press to see the code so you can change it. Is it in settings, widges ect.
I would be great if someone would know how to change this.

I’m using YouTube videos in my posts. The “If post has video use it as an attachment thumbnail” section is ticked in the settings. (If unticked it is still generate a post with video thumbnail on it if i click to “submit test”…weird) I re-installed it, re-authorized it but still not working as it used to be.
