Probelm with widgets & Display Widgets 2.03, fatal error memory exhausted

Hi all,
Apologies I’m not a tech savy person.
Two days ago display widgets stopped working, there are no checkboxes anymore and i get this error where they should be. Fatal error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 787042 bytes) in /home/travelst/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 336
Google translator stoped working also and i cant save any new widgets, i always get a similar error message to the one above.
I tried deactivating and deleting and reinstalling plugins but still no joy. I called my hosting company as i read in other posts to get your bandwidth widened, but i didn’t want to go near code myself. They said they widened it to 48m for working memory but want me to pay an extra 125 euros to widen it any more. I’ve only got two videos and 4 menus in widget area. I’ve got about seven plugins. I’ve around one hundred pages a lot with jpegs on them. Overall my site takes up 320mb of diskspace. Could it be i’m using too much working memory and need to upgrade??
Any help would be really appreciated as i’ve been building this site and learning wordpress myself and hoped to go live today!!

Hey all,

I’ve recently been getting the following error message where my Special Recent Posts widget should be appearing:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 40800 bytes) in /home/sarahioa/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/special-recent-posts/lib/phpthumb/GdThumb.inc.php on line 111

Any ideas what I need to do to fix? It was working fine until yesterday so not sure what went wrong. The only thing I’ve been doing on the site is adding posts.

Hello yesterday I got this message on the home page of my blog. I’ve never seen this before:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 747525 bytes) in /home/chaindlk/public_html/wp/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 948

I proceeded to upgrade to the latest version of WP earlier today and the message disappeared but hours later it reappeared.
Can somebody help me troubleshoot this?

HI, I moved my wordpress.com blog to www.ads-software.com and I haven’t stopped regretting it… I underestimated the skills required to be a webmaster. Anyway, when I try to upload an image to a post I keep getting a fatal error message, memory exhausted (tried allocating 65657 bytes)… etc

I tried tweaking the php file increases the memory from 256 to 12M but nothing is happening. I even used a resized .jpg file but it still wouldn’t upload. What do I do now? I just burned out a lot of brain cells figuring out how to get started, then this… Please help!
