Multiple featured pages

I want to show multiple featured pages on a page by adding a widget in the Page Builder by SiteOrigin.

Feature a Page has to some extend what I ask for, but the widget is not working when I select multiple pages. When I select one page it works, but when I add multiple pages it shows the first blog post of the site instead of the pages I selected. When I go back to edit the widget, the first blog post is selected.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Template Page with feature images

I would like to create a template for pages, which only add one item – feature image of the page.

I have copied the “custom-page.php” as “featured-product.php”, and change the name of the template inside. I want to load the feature image of the page and put it above the breadcrumb.

As my understanding, I shall insert the code on line 8 above this line:

This is what I wanna insert:

Indeed, I would like the image as full-width and 100% height but covered by the frame, and everything is controlled by CSS. (Im ok with the CSS)

My question is, I dont know how to call the feature image of the page. Could someone please tell me what I should really insert?

vertical line appears when i scroll over feature pages circles

A thin vertical line appears when i scroll over feature pages circles for just a moment and then goes away when the circe expands. The line appears to be the edge of the image. Obviously this looks pretty sloppy. Is there anyone that can help me fix this?

How to link home feature page to a Category?

Hi,

I am trying to link my blog post (which is now under a category) via the home feature page (customizr theme special), but can’t seemed to find the way. I believed the featuring can only be done if I link to a page rather than a category. Am I correct?

My purpose of featuring the blog post is to let my music fans to see my constant updates on my album preparation process. As I learned that pages are static and the only way I can have a blog post that can be chosen from the menu, is to link them under a same category.

Is there any way I can feature my blog posts ( a category) under festure page of Customizr?

Second row of feature pages in Customizr

The front page for Customizr has 3 feature page links below the slider. Love this, but is there a way I could make a 2nd row of feature pages below that… so I have 6 feature page links in all??

HTML Code in features page

Hello,

I have a problem with the texte in feature page function. When I have some HTML code (hyper link per example), the code appear than a text.

Sample, in a WebPage, the start of the page is a hyperlink :

XXXXX website

and in the feature page, they don’t show me the text with a link but the HTML Code.

A solution for that ?

Hello nice theme,
I am new to WordPress (this is the first time I’ve used it) and I really like this theme. I have a couple questions if I may get some assistance.

1) I am currently using version 2.0.5 of this theme and I have noticed that others have mentioned that they have updated to 2.0.9 and then I have seen on you theme page that 2.1.2 has been approved. I can’t seem to figure out how to update to a newer version of the theme. When I check for updates all I get is that WordPress is the latest version and that all my themes are up to date. Am I doing something wrong, or am I missing something?

2) I have noticed that the “home” page is not listed in the “pages” app( or whatever it’s called) on the WordPress dashboard side menu) so I was wondering if there was a way to remove the “post” from the bottom of the “home” page? I would rather have my home page be clean an then let the subpages carry comments and posts and whatnot.

3) With the “feature page” description on the main page showing a preview of the text from that page and not the information that I put into the description box, I am assuming that was addressed with one of the updates after the one I am using but I suppose that gets back to how to update the theme to a newer version.

4) I also wanted to know if there was a way to allow my embedded map that I put on my “contact page” to show in the “feature page” image area on the “home” page?

Trying to add featured page can't get rid of tutorial "built in on top"

I am trying to add a page to my website all is ready except there is a tutorial next to an image of a tree at the top that it says is hardcoded and I need to change a php to fix?….help, no idea.
